So If you are like me then you have been looking through tons of piercing kits but don't trust any because most have as many good reviews as they have bad. Well I took a chance and went with this kit despite being unsure with it, and I can truthfully say that it is amazing and truly surprised me in quality. So first off, everything came in its own little sterile packaging and the jewelry looked great. some reviews on this said the jewelry was chipped but mine arrived in great shape, and there was no balls missing or anything. And as far as value goes, it is extraordinarily cheap for the quality and quantity you get. It wasn't listed in the description but mine actually came with 4 extra needles, 2 were 15g and 2 were 13g, so it's a great deal. And for the cheap price of around $20 you can do up to 14 piercings, so I think that's great considering a professional can cost $80+ a piercing. Anyways I only had one piercing in mind when buying this kit but I figured it would be nice having extra supplies lying around just in case. So far I used this kit to pierce my septum which turned out pretty good I think. And as of right now my piercing is 7 weeks old which is about the standard healing time and I have had no infection or irritation to the jewelry. Everyone is different but my piercing has been fine and healed super fast, the needle was real sharp and made the piercing easy. I made it difficult for myself by pushing the needle slow because I was nervous but it was sharp and almost pain free. The jewelry doesn't hurt my nose or feel uncomfortable, I constantly have my septum piercing flipped which isn't as comfortable as having it down but it doesn't cause a real discomfort. And if you are a minor going behind your parents backs to buy a piercing kit please make sure to really research piercings, piercing precautions/procedure, and proper piercing aftercare and other than that this kit is perfect for you. :) But yeah all in all this is great for everyone so if you want that piercing, take a chance and get this kit <3

Update (2 ish years later): my piercing is healthy and clean! No troubles or infection anywhere!!! I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality of this product, considering it's low price. I used a couple things in addition to this for my piercings: Provon Medicated Chloroxylenol Antibacterial Soap, and H2Ocean Aftercare Spray. I pierced my navel with this kit, and it was pretty much perfect. First I lathered my hands in the medicated soap and then prepped the piercing site with the alcohol wipes. I pinched the injection site with my fingers because I have terrible luck with clamps, and pushed the needle through quickly and easily. Not because I'm super hardcore or anything, but because these needles are wonderfully sharp and very effective. There was very little excess blood flow (they're hollow, so once they go through the tissue the blood kinda just gathers on the inside of the pointed tip) and immediately after piercing I cleaned the jewel with the alcohol pad. I also cleaned off any blood with the alcohol pad as well. The jewel (14g for my navel) fit perfectly and I feel no discomfort. I've been cleaning it in the shower with the Chloroxylenol Soap and rinsing it with a warm slightly damp washcloth. Afterward I use the H2Ocean, and there isn't a whiff of infection anywhere in sight. I'll update this review a couple months down the road and let you guys know how my piercing is doing. If you do find that your piercing is causing you discomfort after a couple days of having the jewel in place, treat it with Hydrogen Peroxide for a week. If you still experience discomfort, remove your jewel and treat the open area with hydrogen peroxide until it closes/heals. Talk to your local professional tattoo and piercing shop. Sidenote: the second pair of alcohol wipes dried out on me, probably because I opened the second package too soon. I think that's my own fault. If you'd like to make your own sterile wipes (which I don't recommend but will probably end up doing) take a nonwoven gauze (think Dynarex sponges) and soak it for at least a half hour in Isopropyl rubbing alcohol solution and then treat your piercing/injection area. As somebody who works in surgery, I know quite a bit about sterility semantics and whatnot. I was pleasantly surprised to see the contents of this were labeled to have been sterilized using ethylene oxide. If done correctly, then everything in this kit should be safely and accurately sterilized, which is honestly, more than I expected. Over all, this kit worked great! I gave myself 2 lower helixes and double 2nd lobe piercings. So 4 piercings in total. I did that a few days ago and so far they’re going well. Just be conscious of your own anatomy and be quick and concise. My only critique is 2 things: If you want to have a 16g piercing like me, use the 15g needles so that you can thread the jewelry through the needle for a less painful transition. (The 16g jewelry won’t fit into the 16g needles.) This kit only comes with TWO 15g needles and you should never reuse a needle. And secondly, the clamps are a little wonky. They’re made of plastic and work well enough (I may be spoiled), but they do feel a little cheap. They make the process much better though, I just would have liked for them to be less skewed. Lastly, your body will try to fight you when piercing yourself! So if you just can’t commit to it, wait and have a friend help you. I have multiple other piercings that hurt worse than any I did on myself, but it’s a much different experience watching the needle and making yourself do it. Icing the area isn’t necessary because by the time you situate the clamps and needle, blood will have already rushed back to the area, making it red and irritated, and you’ll bleed more and it’ll hurt more too. I recommend listening to music to hype yourself up. In all, I was really pleased with this kit! And I saved all of my left over supplies just in case. Just remember to play it safe and practice good aftercare with salt soaks or pick up some H2O Ocean spray! :)

I am happy that I purchased this kit, as the cost of getting a piercing done has gone up much higher, and I don't think it's worth paying as much as they charge. Everything shown was received. My only complaint was the way the gloves were packaged. They were just thrown in with everything. They weren't in their own packaging like the rest of the stuff. I didn't feel like they were sterile, so I didn't use them. I just made sure to wash my hands thoroughly. I also wish they'd included some surgical ink to mark where you want to put a piercing. I had to free-hand my piercings because you're not supposed to use a sharpie or a regular pen to mark yourself. I decided to use a 14 gauge needle to pierce my ears, and I'm very glad that I did because it made it super easy to put the jewelry in. The needle was sharp and went through my ear so easily that I didn't realize I had pierced my ear the first time. I felt nothing. I was shocked. Of course I felt the second one but isn't that how it usually goes? I ended up piercing my ears twice on each side. After everything was done, I was surprised at how there was no soreness. It's been 3 days now and I haven't felt any irritation. I'm hoping my piercings will heal quickly, but I still have one more to do on each ear (I'm going for a triangle look on the lobes). I also look forward to doing other piercings as well. Perhaps I'll do my other nostril .... Ah, decisions, decisions ...

This is a great kit for those DIYers that can't justify spending nearly $60 per piercing or who like to do things on a whim. It comes with everything you need to do many 14 and 16 gauge piercings, though you should definitely read through the description to ensure it comes with the particular jewelry you're looking for or buy some when you order this. The plastic forceps it comes with are actually great. Most people, myself included, would assume they'd be terrible but they were actually much nicer to use than the metal ones I bought to accompany this kit. They have a small amount of give so they were able to lock in place without causing pain and did not slide around. The metal ones were not able to lock in place while gripping skin. There are 13-16ga needles included. I actually used the 15ga for 16ga piercings because you can fit the 16ga jewelry in the 15ga needles to do a more pain free pass through. I didn't try fitting the 16 in 16ga needles but judging by the fit in the 15ga needles it probably wouldn't fit. Now for just a suggestion for anyone that game pierced themselves, or been pierced at all. Your body is going to fight you trying to pierce yourself. It will go much slower if you do it yourself and be much more painful than if someone else, such as a professional, pierces you. Your body does not want to harming it and will fight it. You can do it yourself, many of us have, but I'd suggest finding someone knowledgeable that you trust that can help you. Also, the company is great. The Amazon warehouse sent me lingerie by mistake. I emailed the company and they quickly sent me a new kit. You won't be able to do a refund or return request but you can contact them and explain it if you get the wrong item

Honestly it might just be because I’m not a professional but it was really hard to work with. Everything they gave you was great and seemed correct but they gave you no information about what’s what. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you know a lot about piercings just because they don’t tell you what jewelry is for what piercing, they don’t even give you a list of the jewelry it comes with and that wouldn’t be a problem if some of them didn’t look so similar. Be careful if you buy this and you’re not knowledgeable on piercings because what jewelry you pierce with can determine how the piercings heal. If you know what you’re doing then I say go for it. They did give you everything you could possibly need.
