I bought this when I was 17 and wanted to pierce my own septum. While I recommend letting professionals handle things, I also know what’s it’s like to be stubborn and not take no for an answer. If you were going to DIY, it has everything you need at home from the clamps, the needle in different sizes, gloves, sanitizing wipes, and jewelry. I still have my septum in, and later decided to pierce my own belly button. It slowly rejected later and I removed it, but that was due to user error rather than the kit. You can pierce your nose, belly button, nipples, etc. Loved it.

I am happy that I purchased this kit, as the cost of getting a piercing done has gone up much higher, and I don't think it's worth paying as much as they charge. Everything shown was received. My only complaint was the way the gloves were packaged. They were just thrown in with everything. They weren't in their own packaging like the rest of the stuff. I didn't feel like they were sterile, so I didn't use them. I just made sure to wash my hands thoroughly. I also wish they'd included some surgical ink to mark where you want to put a piercing. I had to free-hand my piercings because you're not supposed to use a sharpie or a regular pen to mark yourself. I decided to use a 14 gauge needle to pierce my ears, and I'm very glad that I did because it made it super easy to put the jewelry in. The needle was sharp and went through my ear so easily that I didn't realize I had pierced my ear the first time. I felt nothing. I was shocked. Of course I felt the second one but isn't that how it usually goes? I ended up piercing my ears twice on each side. After everything was done, I was surprised at how there was no soreness. It's been 3 days now and I haven't felt any irritation. I'm hoping my piercings will heal quickly, but I still have one more to do on each ear (I'm going for a triangle look on the lobes). I also look forward to doing other piercings as well. Perhaps I'll do my other nostril .... Ah, decisions, decisions ...

Unfortunately I was not satisfied with this product. The reason why is because some of the jewelry did not match the size of the needles so it was very difficult trying to get the jewelry in the end of the needle and even worse having to stretch the skin even more with the jewelry do it can go into the piercing. I ordered this kit because the size said 14g and 16g and the piercing that I wanted to do needed to be done with a 14g and 16g I have a 13g needle but no 13g jewelry also had a 14g needle but no 14g jewelry all the jewelry was mainly 15g and 16g it was way to thick for the hole in the needle I even tried pushing the jewelry in following the needle as best as I could but it was hurting and stretching the hole bigger then wanted I wanted test getting pierced can be painful but that was unnecessary paint and extra step. This kit would have been great if the needle size actually match the jewelry. I gave this kit a 3 star because the needles are great needles they are very sharp and does what it needs to do pierce a hole through the body and the clamp is actually a pretty good clamp 3 out of 5. Everything is useful in this kit it’s just very irritating at the fact that I only got a couple 16g and 15g needles with a lot of 16g 15g jewelry and a lot of 13 and 14g needles with absolutely no jewelry to fit out of 36 pieces now I have to spend more money which defeats the purpose of me buying a kit.

Everything packed sterile. Bought to re pierce monroe that i took out 6 years ago. Didnt use the clamps only because I wanted to be sure I pierced exactly where it used to be and came out perfect. If youre piercing for the first time definitely use the clamps though. I used someones advice on youtube to use the 15G needle to guide the 16G piercing stud thru because it fits it better and found that really helpful. I love it amazing value for only 10 bucks. Watch someone on youtube for wherever your piercing, take a deep breath and push! Happy piercing
