Description

Staedtler's permanent black ink pen flow evenly for arts, crafts, sketching and drawing. They are archival quality, fade-resistant and acid-free with a long metal tip that is ideal for use with rulers and templates. These pens come in a cardboard box and available in multiple line widths.The ink is Drysafe which means that the pen can be left uncapped for days without drying up (Test ISO 554). The pens are airplane-safe and the automatic pressure equalisation prevents the pens from leaking on board aircraft. Set Contains: 10 x Pigment liners - 0.2 mm

You cannot beat the quality of these pens for dark lines and no bleed writing/drawing. I’m left handed and I’m forever smudging my paper as I move my hand to the right. These pens leave my hands clean and most of all my paper is clean and bright!

I was very happy to find these pens available on Amazon. They are listed and appeared to be sold by Staedtler, the manufacturer. I did not expect to have to wait six weeks for the pens, and then to receive a small, obviously hand-packaged and labeled box from Thailand (a little beat up, and the boxes of pens inside were a little squooshed, but seem otherwise ok. The outside of the brown-paper-wrapped mailing package had a green ribbon around it, which was sweet.) I was disappointed to open the package and find that, instead of the one box each of size .05 mm and .2 mm pens I'd ordered, two boxes (clearly not labeled for sale in the U.S.) of .05 mm pens. I sent a return/replace request to the actual sender, a company called .Blue, although the name on the return address label is a personal name and what appears to be a private address in Thailand. All that added up, and I got a little worried, so I opened the boxes to see/test if the pens inside were even real. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that one of the .05 mm boxes was filled with .2 mm pens (the other with .05 mm as labeled); and that the pens look and seem (I've only tested one) to indeed be authentic, made-in-Germany, brand-new, quality Staedtler pigment liners. I'm not sure what is going on here (or why someone in Thailand is re-filling Staedtler boxes), but relieved to have what I need to finish my project! I'm not giving the five stars I'd normally give for these pens because the odd circumstances make me uncomfortable (and it was a long wait--that may have been explained in the description, but I didn't notice and wasn't prepared for it when I placed the order), but I did, in fact, receive what I ordered, and Staedtler pigment liners are great pens - and these boxes of specific sizes are hard to find, at least here in California. ... show more

Im a beginner and I wanted to get a set of pens that would work well but not break the bank. These are perfect. No smudging even under a watercolor wash. Love the variety of sizes and no signs of the pens drying up yet...and I've used the finer liners quite a bit!
