This is Very Good vest. Have used it for one full deer and turkey season with excellent results. The supplied battery will last 5 hours or so on medium and maybe 3 hours on high. Bought a bigger battery so I don’t have to worry about run time. Vest is fairly warm on its own but really shines when worn over your first layer and under an insulated second layer. You can really feel the warmth even on la or medium. Hard to feel much warmth when worn over a sweat shirt or other insulated layer unless sitting down and leaning back against a tree or tree stand seat. I really wanted to try a heated vest because I work outside in the northern US and it gets cold. I've worn this vest outside while working almost everyday for about 4 months and it has been a game changer for those winter months. The battery life isn't great, maybe an hour or two of use; however, I used a different battery pack and it lasts all day pretty easily. The fit may be a bit snug, but I prefer it that way as I wear it under a coat. Definitely close, I typically wear an XL and the XL fits me as desired. ... show more

I got this for my husband and he absolutely loves it! It keeps him warm and heats up quickly. He loves it for cold days and since he works in the frozen section at a grocery store. The only thing we don’t like about it, is that it is not waterproof and should not be used if it gets wet. It has not snowed or rained much so far this season, but we won’t be able to use in those weather conditions. If we opted for a more expensive Model or brand then they have that option ... show more

Bought this to see if heated vests are viable in anticipation of buying a better one but this thing cooks! Used during winter in the NE coast, crossing the Atlantic, then from England all the way to Poland and back and all I used was a heavy hoodie and this while getting pelted with sea spray and cold, high winds. The 3 colored heat modes made life easy to turn down when I was working or turn up when I was sitting and waiting as we docked or undocked. Never did buy a 'better' one. If anything bad to say, the upper torso felt SOME draft when I was stationary when my back was toasty, but that's me trying to find something bad to say. I ordered one of these vests primarily because of the price and the fact that it comes with a battery which most don't. I figured out why it is so cheap. The battery is junk. I charged the battery before using the vest and when I used it the first time it lasted a little more than an hour. I tried charging it for a few days and the lights never would show a full charge and it wouldn't go more than an hour. I sent it back and ordered another one. Went through the same process and used the vest the first time and it worked really well for six hours. I was pleased until I tried to charge the battery again for 24 hours and it will not hold a charge and will now only work for less than 1 hour. I have tried recharging the battery for 24 hours and it still wont charge. Sending this one back and buying a better quality vest. ... show more
