I needed a vest without a large collar and that wasn't too long that you sit on it everytime you sit down this fit the bill! This is a great vest! Purchased for my husband after he purchased a different brand for me! This vest has great zippers that don't get stuck and worked great until the battery started to malfunction! I just bought a new battery for $10 - overall this is a much better quality with working zippers as opposed to mine! Lol ... show more

I really wanted to try a heated vest because I work outside in the northern US and it gets cold. I've worn this vest outside while working almost everyday for about 4 months and it has been a game changer for those winter months. The battery life isn't great, maybe an hour or two of use; however, I used a different battery pack and it lasts all day pretty easily. The fit may be a bit snug, but I prefer it that way as I wear it under a coat. Definitely close, I typically wear an XL and the XL fits me as desired. ... show more

Battery pack is swollen and does not maintain charge. I got this as a gift for my husband. The battery pack is useless. We cannot even see if the vest works. Disappointing to buy a gift and not be able to try it.

Sizing is a little small for an XL. I am 6’1”” 235 lbs and vest is a snug fit which I knew going in and is exactly what I wanted based of the way I wear it. I use the vest for stand hunting and it helps eliminate some of the bulk from multiple layers necessary for 5-6 hours of remaining immobile in below freezing temperatures. I wear the vest over my first base layer and under a sweatshirt or lightly insulated very thin jacket. This is all the upper body insulation needed under coveralls or insulated bibs with an insulated outer jacket. Vest can be turned to low or medium and warmth is very noticeable since it is close to the body. Battery lasts about 4-5 hours on medium and longer on low. Bought a battery with twice the capacity and it is sufficient for a morning and evening hunt before needing to be recharged. Vest should come with this larger capacity battery or at least be offered with this option. If vest is to be worn over a shirt with the traditional loose fit a XXL will roughly equate to an XL. Warmth will not be as noticeable and vest will probably need to be turned to medium or high to realize much heat. Vest is very warm and comfortable even when not using the heated function. Quality seems good but zippers on pockets are virtually unusable when wearing. Pockets are very difficult to zip and unzip unless the vest is off. Main zipper works well and is easy to zip/unzip. Zipper pull is on the wrong side for men’s clothing. Put the zipper on the correct side for men’s garments and the rating is five stars. ... show more

Being cold sucks. A heated vest is great. You dont have to bulk up with a bunch of heavy layers. And even on its lowest setting... if you wear good, insulative outer layers this thing will really take the edge off and let you sit without getting hypothermic. Get a couple big battery packs (40,000-50,000 MAH with good reviews) and youll have enough juice for literally all day on the medium setting. ... show more

I like it so far. It keeps me toasty and I love to be warm. I haul heavy equipment and sometimes when I'm chaining, I have to turn it off because I get cooked. My yorkie likes to be tucked in my jacket usually and this just keeps her warmer. I like that the battery can be used as a phone charger also. Decent quality vest for the price. However, the little cable that attaches the vest to the battery failed after only three months; fortunately, they give you an extra. But I don't know what I'll do if that "extra" one fails. Also, the battery was fine for one winter season, but when I tried to use the vest for a second season, I found that one of the four cells in the battery pack had failed, and consequently I am left with a vest that only lasts 3 or 4 hours on it's low setting.
