The Squier by Fender SA-150 is a full-size steel-string acoustic that offers big sound at a small price. Bought as a present, but had a chance to try it out before gifting (don't tell!) Seems to stay in tune just fine, and comes with picks and an allan wrench I'm not sure what is for. Wish it came with a case, but honestly for the price I can't complain....and neither will you!

I bought this guitar so I could have an instrument when I visit my daughter in Florida and to avoid the expense and hassle of bringing one of my better guitars on our frequent visits. The sound quality is excellent. I put on a new set of strings which even improved the already nice sound. My main criticism would be that the tuning machines are lousy - about what one would expect on an instrument at this price point. If you’re looking for a decent starter guitar or a good kick around one as an intermediate player, this is a nice solution. ... show more

I bought this guitar as a gift for my girlfriend as she wanted to learn guitar after watching me play for so many years. I got her this guitar because it is probably the best made guitar that you can get in this price range that is beginner friendly i.e. not spending too little to where you get something that never stays in tune and sounds horrible and not spending too much for something that they may only play for a few months and later becomes a decoration. Overall this guitar stays in tune surprisingly well, has great sound and the strings it came with were okay but I ended up replacing them with better ones. The tuners are really stiff and if you do play often I recommend changing them out to something a bit better. ... show more

I tried to get ahold of the seller, he won't answer phones or return emails, Amazon is useless and lies. So I had to call Fender just to find out what size strings it took. This is a very nice guitar and gets 5 stars but the lack of customer service on their end is garbage. Do better Amazon. BTW the string sizes are 12-54 ... show more
