    • Great Value and Fun to Play
Color: Black Style: Right Handed
Background: I’m a beginner learning how to play. Great value—I actually prefer learning on this bass compared to my others. Friends who’ve been playing bass for a while say it has great tone. A big plus for me: the bassist of Ghost uses a Fender Jaguar Bass, and this feels like the more affordable version since Squier is under Fender. TL;DR: Love it! Great beginner bass. Absolutely recommend. ... show more

    • I love it!
Color: Black Style: Right Handed
I’ve been playing bass since the 70’s and bought this little Squier because it was on sale for less than $200 (it had a chip in the finish). Wow! I love this little thing! I had big plans to mod it with pickups, tuners, and bridge, but I ended up keeping it 100% stock. I feels great out of the box and has the undefinable “feel” of a quality instrument. I guess Squier really HAS upped their game! On it’s own it’s fairly muddy, but with some liberally applied EQ it turns in to a snarling monster. Kind of a John Entwistle vibe. Guaranteed to annoy your guitar player. Wasn’t sure about the “medium scale”, but it turns out to be fine. I usually have trouble with short scale basses. Highly recommended. ... show more

    • Great bass for the price
Color: Black Style: Right Handed
Arrived well packaged and in perfect brand-new condition. Was fully set up and ready to play out of the box. The neck is straight, frets have no sharp edges, and the medium scale length is incredibly comfortable. The humbucker sounds great, but is definitely pretty dark sounding. Works very well for heavy stuff. ... show more

    • It broke within an hour of playing. Absolutely disgraceful quality assurance.
Color: Black Style: Right Handed
It broke within the first hour of playing. Arrived with loose jiggling knobs, which I guess is typical for the careless disregard for the quality of experience you get if you can’t afford expensive things. But then the wires failed/detached and the instrument doesn’t emit any sound whatsoever. Cool. So I have a completely worthless paperweight. And yeah im sure this could be soldered by me but guess what, don’t have soldering equipment on me, nor should the responsibility be immediately lifted off the shoulders of the company who took $300 from me then spit in my face, and placed on the consumer as if I shouldn’t expect the, you know, most basic bare minimum of a functional item. I guess i should just be thankful they sent me the guitar at all instead of just a photocopy of some guy’s buttcheeks from QA, which ironically would be as useful. ... show more

    • I need this bass in my life!
Color: Black Style: Right Handed
I bought this exact bass guitar type years and years ago... but, I have no idea where it went after I moved a few times and moved on to other instruments, projects, and even jobs. Sadface :( Despite all that, I am looking forward to buying another one (yes I am serious, this very bass) because I still have a very fond memory of it, & idk but I need it again. Why? Because...this bass is awesome! I love it so much 😆 11/10 would buy again, lol! ... show more
