I am honestly shocked at the unbelievable value behind this jacket…well 2 jackets. For $99, you get both a liner and a shell. You can wear either one separately, or zip them together to create one very robust winter jacket. You get all of the high end water resistance, wind resistance, breathability, and wicking features, and both jackets look and feel very high quality, with metal zippers, heavy duty materials and solid stitching. I feel like this jacket combo easily stacks up against $500 jackets both from Spyder and competing brands. There are plenty of pockets inside and out for gear, as well. I think the only ski jacket feature this is missing is the elastic snow skirt. For me, this Spyder is replacing a nearly 30 year old Pacific Trail PacTech Perfomance ski jacket that has withstood many many ski trips and, in general, the test of time. I look forward to seeing just how far this Spyder can go, as well! Absolutely fantastic “deal of the century” buy at $99.

Just tried this jacket, pretty good, minor issues. I am 6ft 3, 170lb and this jacket is a nearly perfect fit - little roomy in the chest, the sleeves are 0.5in too sort. It lacks the elastic skirt and has no drawstring, so the wind gets into your back a little bit. The jacket is really warm and I hope the shell is waterproof. I wish it had vents for the warmer afternoon. The value for money is amazing. Just make sure that your build and expectations are in line with the product.

Used the inner jacket quite a bit. Even in near 0°. Still warm. Used with the outer jacket together during my skiing vacation. Very warm Below 0° and skiing for hours at a time. I will definitely buy another one if this one wears out. Worth the price.
