Quality construction. Seems well built, includes extra batteries, and well packaged. Easy to read. Compared with a higher price unit, the accuracy of measurements is a bit off. When fully closed and zero'd, it reads 0mm. However, once extended to any length and then brought back to 0mm, the measurement varies from 0.17mm to 0.37mm. It's a good tool to use to ballpark certain measurements, but for exact and precise measurements, I would look at a higher grade unit. Other than that, it's a great device that is going to get used a lot. Hopefully, it lasts in the long run!

Can't beat the price! I use it as a maintenance mechanic and so far it's been accurate. My job demands strict tolerances on some things and " close enough " on others. This handles the " close enough" hands down. I don't think I could put it up against the certified stuff the die shop guys use, but for my needs it's a steal .

At first I thought it was my inexperience with a caliper, but I had a knowledgeable friend check it & it's off inconsistently, by about 10-15%. I'm returning it & looking for a different (accurate) caliper
