I like the design of the unit but it suffers from several issues. I purchased this unit for its portability and the DA/random option. Unfortunately, the unit I received came with a defective eccentric orbit adapter. The seller offered to replace the part but the replacement would ship from China. With a shipment time that would push me beyond my return period, this isn’t an acceptable remedy. The device is very weak. After fully charging the battery, I turned on the unit and was able to stop the motor by gently pinching the spindle. When running, the device is rather noisy with the sound of loose or dry gears in the motor head. I can’t imagine this device lasting very long and the built-in battery ensures a short lifetime for this polisher. The selection of polishing pads included with the device seems impressive but the device itself is truly disappointing. ... show more
