Security informed me that my “Tactical Pen” was a weapon and capable of glass breaking and that Whistles were not allowed into the park. The 65 year old woman informed me that she was a Veteran and can identify tactical pens. I informed her i too was a veteran and it made no difference. She offered to Surrender(throw away) my 80 dollar pen to allow me access or that i could conveniently walk ten minutes back to my hotel room to return it there. Oh i had just arrived from the airport where i Flew to California with it on my person. No one died. Everything was alright. Everyone was safe from my dangerous Tactical pen that could have had a Catastrophic effect on Disneyland. So be careful out there. Someone could be carrying one of these Dangerous pens in Disneyland and you have no idea. Like i did for 2 days before someone said it was too Dangerous for a Theme Park. I have traveled internationally many times with this pen on my person however, the @TSA agents at @RDU will confiscate it. Additionally, @RDU is quite possibly the worst airport in the US in regards to their staff in general.

I have the titanium version, and I absolutely love it! It has some weight to it, but I like that as well. It feels like a premium pen, and it is a premium pen. But, it also doubles as a tactical tool, and that's a big plus for me. I've seen some comments about how the ink runs out too fast, and I feel like it lasts long enough for a short ink cartridge. I use my pen daily, heavy use, and I'm getting about 2-3 months of ink. I get compliments everywhere I go. I'm a truck driver for FedEx freight, and every pick up that I go to, it never fails! I always get compliments. Apart from that, the customer service is amazing! I jumped off my tractor, and the pocket clip got caught on something, and it broke off.. And not that easy, it gave a good tug. I contacted the manufacturer, and they shipped out another pocket clip, no questions asked. Love the product, and the service. If I lost it today, I would definitely order another one. I saw a review about how the opening is too big, and the tip is wobbly, I don't have that issue with mine. It's very sturdy. I wonder if he had the aluminum version, and if that's a bit different. ... show more

The only one I've bought is the Titanium. Extremely sturdy pen. One of those every day items in my pocket. I've used mine not only for all those writing tasks, and the bolt action is a pure joy to simply fiddle with. But, I've also used the fact that this is a very rugged pen for chores that it was probably not designed. Things like resetting the safety valve of a propane tank when a Boy Scout does not attach the regulator properly. Prying and poking things that a stick just can't without breaking. I also love the fact that Titanium does conduct heat as well as other metals, so you can write with this in the cold and not find your hand frozen. Very useful, very sturdy. My original was from a Kickstarter. The one I bought here on Amazon is going to my God-daughter as a graduation present. Hopefully to be used for proper college things, but it will also serve as a nice tool to explain the meaning of "no" to a overactive date. ... show more

This is a very well made pen. I’ve been carrying it for about 2 weeks now and I really like it. Other tactical pens try and cram way to many features into a design, but this one really hits a good balance. It does everything they say that it does. I work construction, so anything I carry every day lives a hard life! So far there isn’t a scratch on the thing, looks brand new! I received bought two pens. So the pens are fine, except that each one writes for maybe 20 seconds and stops. The ink cartridges are junk. Disappointing!

Love the pen! Feels weighty and solid in your hand, and the bolt mechanism is fun to use. I have already gotten a bunch of questions about it from other co workers. Just needs a blue ink option!
