The sink connection is plastic and the hoses do not recede back in cabinet to keep water from leaking out on to the floor. It’s quite, works great! Came with a small dent on the side in the back. Just have to make sure the connections are tight so it won’t leak. We used some Teflon tape on the threads before tightening, works perfect! Does dry the bottom rack completely, upper needs a quick little wipe.

Just received this unit today, hooked it up easily enough following the instructions. After multiple washes my dishes remain dry and dirty. No water of flowing through the spray arms at all. All the water just fills up and sits on the bottom of the machine then just drains right back out through the hose. ... show more

I liked the ease of set up and the simplicity of use. It is a very sleek design and easy to store out of the way when not in use. The only thing that I noticed was that it did not dry the larger pans that were on the bottom rack. It cleaned very well however.
