Let me start out by saying you pay for what you get. I gave it a 3 star rating because it is a beginners toy. First of all I tried to get good video quality on all the different setting and it seem the same. Also attracted a external mic to see if I could get better sound quality on the mic input and did not work, I tried to change setting for the sound on the camera but no luck. The mic did work on my other camera. Also I received two batteries and one of them did not charge. Over all it is a beginners toy and after all the fuss I'm sending the camera back for a refund. don't waste your money ... show more

"RANDOM" is in the brand name, and you're definitely getting some random chinese product here, but hard to argue with the price. It doesn't have image stabilization, but otherwise it functions like any other camcorder, meaning it's perfect for giving to your kids to play with, without needing to worry about them breaking it because it was so cheap. ... show more

First off, I don’t have much of a background in photography or using video cameras. Despite that, this product is well designed and intuitive to use, and I was rolling right away! Upon plugging in the SD card I was given an auto prompt to format it. The camera turns on when you open it and turns off when it’s properly closed. It attached nicely to a tripod I had - it wasn’t so heavy that I needed to over tighten. Despite coming in at an entry skill level, there is apparently much to learn if chosen between quality settings, environment settings, and it is a simple intuitive process to find and swap between modes, menus, and action. The product fits well in my hand and has a strap to help make sure it isn’t dropped during handling, with an optional remote, included charger cable and adapter, storage bag and instructions. ... show more

    • Microphone?
Not sure if I need to buy a microphone or if the audio will sound better after downloaded into our computer, but the playback sound on video is awful. I can never understand what is being said in our videos :(

I was tired of running out of space on my iPhone when recording long shows so I decided to buy a camcorder. It came with two batteries which is really nice. The video quality of the screen is really good. The zoom is very good too and the recordings are nice and smooth like a camcorder should have.
