I purchased this product as a backup to my MQ-500. Even though my Apogee's cost more, it gives more precise readings than my Spot On. There are 2 problems with this par meter. The size of the display gets washed out under a high power grow light . The device sometimes freezes--Power off, power on, this solves the problem. Overall, this is not a good purchase. Even the cheaper part meter (Hydrofarm LGBQM) gives you the same questionable reading as the Spot On. In the end, I returned for a refund. ... show more
