It works great. 2 window units, fridge, water and sewage pumps, tv, internet, no problem. It's heavy and awkward to move around, and kind of loud. But heavy and loud are not worth 500 extra dollars. I'm definitely not paying that much more for something that is less noisy, i can barely even hear it once I close the door anyway. If you want something affordable that will serve its purpose just as well as the more expensive brands, get this one.

Don't use the propane,,,it lasts about 2-3 hours running nothing but a couple fans. A 20 lb bottle of propane costs $55.00. It's not worth it

First use it fired up on propane second pull. Worked great, no issues. Second use, fired up 3rd pull. Ran for an hour. Same day, 3rd use, wouldnt fire up at all. Backfired repeatedly while trying to start. Got on the phone with Sportsman, checked the usual stuff, spark plug, oil.....ended up being told I would need to take the motor apart and check the valve gaps and rebuild the carberator..... Huh?? Brand new generator with 7hrs of use and I need to rebuild the carb and check the valave gaps?? I read the reviews and I figured this generator was a gamble, but I couldnt imagine it would take a crap after 7hrs. Find a different generator.... Update......Spoke with Sportsmans again about using the warranty to fix it or get a refund. Becuase I did not buy the generator from an approved reseller, I do not qualify for a refund or the warranty. Amazon and Ebay purchases do not qualify. If you choose to buy this generator anyway, buy it somewhere else.

Delivered well packaged in brand new condition. Starts and runs just fine. I only tested it with the LPG option. IT DOES NOT PRODUCE ELECTRICITY!! I followed the Troubleshooting Guide, including adjusting the AVR, without change!! Still NO ELECTRICITY! I called the Toll-Free Help line. After 20 min. someone took my info and told me she would pass it on to the technician. After verifying my name and number, I was told the Tech. would call me back. THAT WAS 8 HOURS AGO.....NO ONE CALLED, YET!! At this point, I WOULD NOT BUY FROM OR RECOMMEND THIS VENDOR. (Subject to change or revision)

I bought this generator from a big Orange box store in 2018 when it was on sale. I did not need it but figured since living in Houston it's always safe to have a generator because you never know. Well in 2020 we had the freeze and we lost the power. Fired up the generator with gasoline and ran fine, no problem, until the oil ran out and it stopped running in the middle of the night. Pretty normal for generators to run out of oil so filled it back up and continue using the generator. So far so good. I needed to use this generator at a job site about 8 months after the freeze so before I brought it to the job site I want to make sure it's in good running order. I went to turn to switch on for the gasoline flow and the valve broke. I've only used this once and granted it was sitting idle and storage in the box for two years but has never been touched before the freeze. I contacted tech support and they said the engineers would get back to me. Well they did the following day and told me that because it was out of the warranty. I would have to buy a new valve for $40 odd some dollars. I thought that was a little crazy because the same valve is sold on Amazon for $8. I told her is a really cheap part and I can't believe that after one use the valve would break. They did not seem to care except to sell me the part but I kept saying would you like to pay for this with a visa, mastercard, or other credit cards. I I told her the same part is on sale for Amazon for $8 and how could they feel right for trying to sell an $8 part for $40. They didn't seem to care, lady on the phone kept asking me which card I would like to use. I declined to purchase the valve from them and ask me again which card I would like to use to purchase the valve. At this point I just said my goodbyes and said I'm getting it from Amazon and I wish not to purchase from them. She finally got the message across in their head and just said goodbye and hung up. The generator powered a fridge and a space heater and the internet equipment for 16 hours. For the first initial use it was great but the second time when the part failed and they wanted five times more for a part, and they wanted to charge me shipping as well, that's when I realized this company profits off Chinesium and parts which are unreliable and they would love to sell you parts at a super inflated price. There are other generators out there that may cost a few dollars more and had I known Buffalo Corp was this shady I would have just spend extra money and gotten a more reliable generator. I did fix the generator with the $8 part and I fired it up again today 2022 with propane and it ran. How long I will not know however I did purchase another generator just because the reliability issue with this one.

One day power was out so I started this generator for the refrigerator. It run about 10 minutes then stopped while running then never starts again

I’ll have to say I’ve been really surprised with this generator. It’s easy to move around and it’s not as loud as I figured it would be. I run mine on propane because the gas now a days will mess a carburetor up. It will fire on the second pull every time.
