This roll bar is really nice and looks super cool on my Ford F-150. The first box came with all parts damaged and the seller immediately replaced it. The second box cam with 1 part damaged but seller could not just replace that particular part so they immediately refunded a portion of the cost. Who does that? Up to now, only them. So I would highly recommend this roll bar because you'll really like the way it looks on your truck. And, if you should have any problems, Amazon & the seller will make it right.

First, based on what I received and assembled, this is not a roll bar but instead a light mount and it's a decorative item. The tubing is a light gauge and does not make a continuous loop, it's simply retainined by bolt to rivnut connections inside the top sheet steel box. I wouldn't rely on this to protect vehicle occupants in an accident or mishap. Second, there are plenty of rivet nuts being employed for connecting components and some of them are not staying in place, spinning when bolts begin to get tight. I had to get my rivnut tools out and reset some of them to get bolts to actually keep pieces together. The instructions are simply bad. They're difficult to read, the drawings don't have enough detail and there is really only one half page pictograph showing what goes where. The instructions show specific size bolts for different parts of the assembly yet those bolts are not included, most of them are actually shorter than what the instructions indicate. Finally, there were parts that were painted or possibly powder coated that had blemishes in the finish and it looks like those areas were touched up with a felt pen or nail polish. It really doesn't look like a $390 product. I'm disappointed.

The overall lines are very tough, and the car instantly has the feeling of an off-road vehicle. Especially the design with lamp holders, which reserves the position for the light strip installation. If you want to add lights later, you don’t have to drill holes and run wires. The design is very thoughtful. And what makes me most satisfied is that it is a true "drill-free" installation, which works very well with the original car slot. The whole process took me less than an hour to complete. I can do it myself without going to a car dealership. The material is also very solid. It looks like it is not just for decoration. It can also provide some protection if it hits a small branch or something. Another advantage is that it is compatible with folding covers. I use a three-fold rear cover. After installing the roll cage, the cover can still be opened and closed normally without interference. Many similar products cannot do this.

The first thing to point out is that this doesn't attach to the frame, but rather to the bed rails, and thus to call it a "roll bar" is a bit of a misnomer. It's more appropriately called a "light mount", because that's for the most part what it really is. As far as light mounts go, though, you'd be hard pressed to find something better for the price. It's built like a tank and once mounted is solid and secure. It has a very nice aesthetic to it, and has an "original" look to it, and doesn't really look out of place at all. It makes mounting light pods or bars an absolute BREEZE, and you can mount them forward for driving lights or backward for bed lights. It is compatible with a tri-fold tonneau, however, once installed, it does prohibit the tri-fold from being folded up, as there's no place for it to go; if you fold it up, you'll have to find a way to secure it against the bar somehow. So, while it does work with the tri-fold tonneau, it does place some limitations on it, so if you're going to be hauling a tall load, you may want to remove the tonneau beforehand. Installation is pretty simple, there's some mild assembly which takes 10 or 15 minutes tops and then you put it on top and tighten everything down. 1 person can do it, but 2 makes maneuvering the whole works into place just a little bit easier. If you're looking for something to mount some lights on while also looking pretty good on your truck, this is well worth the time and money. It's definitely a good value for the money, in my opinion.

The exterior of my Ram instantly gives it a more rugged, off-road-ready look, instantly elevating its presence. The built-in cargo basket is incredibly practical, securely holding everything from tents and luggage to tool boxes and camping gear, adding a lot of flexibility for everyday or outdoor use. I particularly like the fact that it requires no drilling for installation, making it ideal for those who prefer not to damage the vehicle's structure. Following the instructions, the installation process was incredibly smooth. Furthermore, this rack is compatible with both tri-fold and soft roll-up covers. My own tri-fold soft cover opened and closed perfectly, without any interference or interference. It's a very thoughtful design.
