Description

Who is your favorite sea-farin' sponge? This game takes SpongeBob on a nautical adventure through the vibrant and wondrous Bikini Bottom. SpongeBob wants to give his friend Patrick Star autographs of their favorite superheroes, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. However, SpongeBob's request comes at an inopportune time. Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy are resting after a long morning patrolling the rest home. To get some well-deserved peace and quiet, they send SpongeBob on increasingly zany challenges. Help your favorite sponge fulfill the quest to win their autographs. In SpongeBob SquarePants: SuperSponge, players take the role of SpongeBob on a quest to secure the autographs of his heroes, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. This is no simple task: SpongeBob must complete silly errands such as retrieving beauty products from the bottom of the world and fetching Kelp Kandy Bars. SpongeBob even has to borrow a time machine and travel to prehistoric Bikini Bottom to find a shell-bra outfit made of rare clams. Whether he's searching for the ultimate spatula to perfect his Krabby Patty- flipping technique at the Krusty Krab, or just hanging out with his best friend Patrick (an amiable starfish), SpongeBob's good intentions and overzealous nature usually create chaos in his underwater world.

  • Came in great condition

  • Awesome game for young kids and kids at heart.
My son mysteriously found this game at our house and fell in love with it, when the game stopped working he was upset, so my first solution was to look on Amazon to find a new copy of it, and I was lucky enough to do so. The bad sides to it, are although it works on a playstation 2 gaming console you still need a playstation 1 memory card. The levels are easy but with somewhat of a challenge to them. My six year old actually does better at the levels then I do most of the time. And, he loves that all the characters from the show are included in the game. The graphics aren't what you expect from a playstation 1 or 2 game, but with the age of the game, it's to be expected really. The game all in all is something I would recommend for any child five or older. ... show more

  • Refund
The media could not be loaded. The game came in scratched up. Can’t play without it glitching because of all the scratches. I DO NOT appreciate this.

  • So glad it was in stock
Not as long as it should be with only slight editions to the platforming collectathon genre. The soundtrack and sfx have nothing to do without spongebob outside of some voice acting with hammy dialog. Still, I grew up playing this and I'm so glad I could get my hands on a copy.

  • Play as Spongebob in a 2D platformer
The goal of the game is very simple as is typical of a 2D platformer. Spongebob must collect items at the very end of the level to get ready for Patrick's birthday party. The graphics are good. The MAJOR drawback of this game is the TERRIBLE controls, which makes the game play almost unenjoyable. For one, it is easy to slip off a platform. Also, you are collecting spatulas for health, but everytime you get hit by an enemy, you lose most of your spatulas. If you get hit and have 0 spatulas, you die. There are only 3 continues, but the continues are worthless since they take you back to the beginning of the level! On the plus side, your game is saved after completing each level, and the game itself is relatively short. ... show more

Not really a greatest hits to me, but this game is great in my opinion. The music was fine but some of the voices are out from the PC games like the beginning. but who cares it's fine. Gives me that arcade feeling.
