So this was a game I missed back in the day, so I've no comparison to the original. But as a first-time player it's a nice, relaxed collecathon platformer that's nice to relax with. Being first and foremost a kids' game consequences for death are minor and the bigger threats come from platforming that enemies, more often than not. But, again, fun for a relaxed session of gaming. Weirdly most of the main cast are in it, but Mr. Krabs voice actor is not, and it's really jarring. The soundalike is really quite bad at their job. The statue is nice, big, solid and very well put together/painted. A bit larger than I realized, so make sure you've some decent shelf space somewhere for it. The biggest surprise were the socks. I actually grabbed them one day because I needed a pair in a hurry and I didn't know where any were. I was expecting something flimsy that would maybe last me the one day I needed them if I was lucky. Instead I found a pair of thick, soft socks with reinforced ankle and toecaps. Like a genuinely excellent pair of socks. Very pleasant surprise. The lithographs are a delight. though really just something you'll probably glance at once or twice and then forget about. I've not used to the wall stickers so while they look nice I can't attest to their quality or sticking abilities. So, yes, good game, good collectibles, great socks. ... show more

The statue is pretty well made it looks detailed a perfect addition for a Sponge Bob fan. As for the other goodies it comes with the socks seem to be cushioned and seem comfy to wear. Also the sticker packs and lithograph it comes with are nice to look at and are decent size. Playing the game brought back memories, it also looks well with the Hd remaster. ... show more
