They are beautiful and perfect for what I needed. My husband requested beef wellington for his birthday dinner, and I wanted to tie the table decor into his love of Ducks Unlimited and hunting. I was searching Amazon and finally hit on these with the right search description for outdoor inspired dinnerware. Most importantly I was late in planning, and they were available for one-day ship, so they got here just in time. What was a surprise benefit was a friend of ours gave us a platter that exactly matched these, so that was a fun bonus. He absolutely loved them, and I was happy I didn't have to use our usual options. They came packaged very well, individually wrapped and boxed. I love this plate, the latest addition to my Woodland Hunting Dogs set. I have several sets of Spode fine stoneware and it is gorgeous on a table at any time of the year. These Hunting Dogs place settings will be the star of my Thanksgiving table this year. The colors are autumnal and the "dogs" will please the family because we're all dog lovers. If you like Rabbits, you're gotta love this Rabbit salad/desert plate! I use it all the time. I'm actually thinking of getting a second salad/desert plate, so I can have a clean one, and one in the dishwasher at all times. lol! The plate is a little pricey, but it is made in England. I purchased the whole line of these Rabbit plates (dinner plate, salad plate, cereal bowl, mug, sandwich tray, oval rim dish, and salt and pepper shakers). I just wish the soup dish was available too. Portmeirion, could you please make this possible?
