Had no fitting issues with this pipe. The workmanship is good and so are the welds. For those that say the spring mounts are welded out of alignment it may be that it was intended to pull on an angle in opposite directions as it works fine. Sure is hard to get the springs on. Better eat your Wheaties. The work I did to mount it was file the mounting flange flat and grind out just a bit of the weld to clear for the screw heads with washer. I made and aluminum 3/8 rod with 6mm stud in each end and screwed one side as a clutch cover bolt and made it longer to but a lock nut on the back. The other end is a washer, a rubber washer, the bracket then another rubber washer , steel washer and lock nut. I had to drill and file another hole in the bracket to line up with the stud. I have it mounted on a test bike that I test out ported motors. I can't comment on peak performance as I switch from gutted stock pipes and various carb combos. Like stock NT, a modified NT with key holed bore. A Bofang and a cheap HP carb. The key holed NT is taking a 3/8 end mill and cutting the top of the carb bore through to elongate it to increase the volume and flow. Just cut up to the point of your intake diameter on top. I will be fitting a screw in lawnmower muffler to the end of this pipe to easily remove and install at will. For the price I payed under 35.00 and I did not have to bend it to fit it is sure worth it.

very loud .use the muffler that came with your kit and noise problem solved. and still have noticeable mid to upper power increase. 2 strokes love exspansion chambers. welds look like crap .recomended highly for you motorized bicycle fans.

Its under $40 cant complain on value. I love the design of this pipe!!! Can't say enough about it. The fact that it does come in two peices allows you to have the adjustment to fit any bike. The springs hold the two together very well but do not hold weight with the other mounting screws being the weight barring parts. Looks clean as hell too. I will post the sound once I get the new sproket in. The cannondale trail 8 bike I put this on has a super wide frame that most exhaust can't work. This pipe did amazing and has more room to play. Longevity items to test would be: *Paint durability (scratches very easy so I question heat resistance) *how parts hold together being a two peice (are their cons?)

Were it attached to engine on the side mount broke. I use hose clamps to hold it together But it definitely opens it up once you lean out the motor will gain top end loose bottom super load. Warning louder than most of this style.i wouldn't buy it again I ran for 2 months with it broke. Put stock exhaust back on sold the bike. It was fun before it broke and my bike is everything new and tight so it's not like it was jumping around. It's just really thin

good day motorized bicycle gear heads, firstly it is true this is louder than your drill sargent, but people the power gains esp over flexable exhaust is crazy flex poopoo style held bike back badly and we all know factory pipe just dangeling down there waiting to ruin your day, its true most time either snaps studs or cause crash. now heres the trick replace factory with this remove allen bolt from clutch cover dig up same style thread bolt but a lil longer bolt up to cover with welded tab. remember that factory pipe sling it into vice cut about 2in from end. now with pipe still in vice heat evd withtorch straighten out as best as able slide that baby into end of this exhaust should fit snuggly use factory clamp to rig up stable mount to rear of bike and boom all the power from this awesome ppipe with no angry neighbors. forgot to mention this version imo is by far best one reason is its 2 piece so its more adjustable than solid versions and safer on you and your mmotor mounts reason is were its spring tension held together it is able if needed to flex and move instead of tearing away yourexhaust studs and ruining your ride and day. oh and its cheap ompared to most other restrictive flow pipes with its resonance chamber bike will be peppy and happy. what got to lose sellers got 30 day whateer warranty refund or replace cant beat it if dont like it return it and buy a diff. thanks stay safe out there,

Light scratching on arrival. Only noticed after taking off bubble wrap, so it was likely during preperation for shipping or during manufacture. Other than scratches product finish looked good. Provided gasket had a chunk missing out of it. Welds look like hammered dog crap but they should hold. product fit well but it was an absolute punch in the scrote to get the springs on, however that tells me it should stay in place in rough conditions. A good option for people wanting an expansion tank with an odd angle to go around. It went on Schwinn 100th anniversary edition beach cruiser.
