Rushed to market movie tie in game similar to those in the 90s Graphics and gameplay reminiscent of Gamecube/PS2 area movie game, but with fast travel in some areas Only voice dialogue for the game is from Lucky at key moments. All other characters must read from text. Exception being horses making sounds. Story takes place after the movie. Your mother leaves behind a treasure map, but before you can find the treasure, you have to do hours of chores and errands around town. Generic non-physical treasure at the end Most of the game is just doing fetch quests for those around town. There's a minor villain plot where he steals your map to find treasure for himself, and you have to get it back Walking and horse riding feels very stiff and floaty. Most of the time you're riding Spirit from place-to-place but it doesn't real feel like riding a horse. There isn't even realistic hooves sounds as he gallops. Most other open-world game with horse riding do a way better job. With this being the main attraction, you'd think they at least match those games. Aside from the town, cabin, and this one icy area in the game; most of the open field/where you traverse looks the same. There is a boost/speed up option for Spirit, but the cooldown time is horrible, artificially extending the game in my opinion. This makes a 1-2 hour game 3-4 hours (excluding side quests) Fast travel locations are not main objective friendly as you have to gallop a few minutes from a fast travel location to get to your destination PSN trophies. Easy platinum. Just complete the game through to the end. All trophies are story based. I'd say better to buy two copies of the movie than this overpriced game. ... show more
