Very easy to use. Our kid's been playing with it for days without any splatters or issues, but after seeing other reviews we've made sure to clean it completely every time and to make sure the splash guard is on tight.. We had to cut out more circles from our existing paper (using one of the originals as a template) and I do recommend you use construction paper or something else a little thicker than standard paper, just because otherwise the paper soaks through pretty fast with the paints. For the price you can't beat the fun your kid will have with this.

My 6yo and I got some pretty patterns. These are the first 4 we did. There is a splash guard but paint still spills out so be careful. I saw paint/paper refills on Amazon so it's a good long time investment. We poured paint when it was spinning and also poured paints first and then press spinning. Used a flat small screwdriver to remove paint randomly when it was spinning. Keep experimenting and you'd definitely get some beautiful patterns.

First off, my 8 year old granddaughter LOVES this. She said it was the best present ever. However, it does make a big mess. I covered the table with an old towel as a precaution and am so glad I did. The paint does sometimes spray outside the splatter guard. After 2 or 3 paintings, the machine got so covered in paint, you could not remove the finished paper without getting paint all over your fingers. (Keep damp paper towels near by to wipe your hands!) It was quite painstaking to clean up all the plastic pieces of the spinner when we were done as the paint was everywhere. Even though my granddaughter wore a smock, she did get some paint on her clothes which did NOT come out in the wash. Despite all this, it was fun and we will definitely keep using it.

Got this for my 5 year olds bday and we ALL love this thing!!! It's easy to use and while it does get a little messy, it wasn't anything crazy. There was no paint flying everywhere or anything like that but the guard that's included could probably use a quick wash after every couple of uses. My son got a ton of use out of this and I would absolutely buy this again if outs ever broke. We're definitely getting more paper that fits this thing because this never gets old!

I quickly ventured outside the provided media with this little product but it comes with a great base of paint to start with. I traced the provided sheets once I opened it up, so I’d have a template for cutting out more with different types of paper after I use the provided ones up. It comes with 20 art boards. I made some cards with it too, all around if you want to get creative you can with this!! It’s super fun. I clean the plastic splash guard between uses.

My two year old LOVES this toy. First day she played for over an hour straight with it. I didnt find it messy. Splatter is contained by splash guard and was a pretty easy little craft. She is only 2 and could do almost the whole thing by herself. I just had to swap the paper in and out for her. Would highly recommend this product!

Granddaughter loves it. Couldn't get the gold to squeeze out and when did the lid came off, paint came out lol. She loves the results. Fortunately it came out of our clothes. Lol. But overall no complaints. She loves to paint and this is a big hit. You will need to stand by if child is younger in case lids are stuck. Lol. Fun gift
