    • Perfect for Nest programmable wifi thermostat in an electrical box!
Color: White
Review Image by Shanny and Tom
Amazing product! Made for thermostats that were originally mounted in an electrical box and the orientation of the box (horizonal or vertical) does NOT matter! Super simple to install - the instructions are on the back of the box instead of an additional throw away piece of paper! This saved me the hassle of having to add a piece of drywall and mud over the part of the box the Nest thermostat didn't cover. My only complaint is that they didn't have the color Fog available as a backplate so I went with white. There is a metal plate that screws into the electrical box and thank goodness the plate is adjustable so that it could be moved over to the right so that the plate would fit next to the door frame. The white top plate then screws (along with the Nest back piece) into the metal plate. Simple and elegant! ... show more

    • Perfect Fit, Great Look!
Color: White
Fits great and protects my wall. We rent so it also covers the holes from the other thermostat. Sits flush and doesn’t impede access to the thermostat. Installation was just as easy as a nest brand backplate and my significant other likes the look much better!

    • Great smart thermostat- with one issue
Color: White
Review Image by Dylan
I’ve went full “smart home” and needed to upgrade my thermostat. What I love -Very easy to install…I was worried about the install but it took less than 15 mins to install. The videos online help too -Easy to connect to your WiFi and can be controlled in multiple smart home apps -Perfect sync with the HVAC system- I swear my HVAC kicks on quicker with this than before The opportunities -For some reason it will randomly disconnect from my Apple HomeKit app…keeps saying “unresponsive”. After resetting and rebooting, still doesn’t work. But it does come back after a day or so. May be more of an Apple HomeKit issue than the unit itself. When this happens, the unit still remains useable in the Google Home App. ... show more

    • Great material feel and aesthetic.
Color: Charcoal/Gray
I bought this and a less expensive plate. This one is much better. It looks really nice, it had a great adapter plate, and has a great material feel. Keep up the good work.

    • Works just right
Color: Charcoal/Gray
If your thermostat is mounted over an electrical box and you have non-top of the line Nest thermostat, this plate and trim is for you. I called an electrician and explained my problem. They came out, looked at my thermostat and agreed it was on a box. Then they left. They couldn’t help. I researched online and found this plate and trim kit. It is perfect. The plate fits perfectly on the electrical box. The trim plate covers it all well AND the color of the trim is a great match to the thermostat. Hats off to whoever came up with this product. It’s easy, easy to install. I’m a 57 year old woman and had no trouble installing this and the Nest. ... show more
