2006 Chevy Avalanche 1500. My truck was accelerating really slow, likely stuck in third, getting a P0758 code. Replaced the transmission fluid, filter, gasket, and the four solenoids (two of these specific ones) and its running like brand new! Pretty straightforward replacement. There are a few videos on Youtube. Just have to be careful removing the two solenoids on the driver's side since they are spring loaded and will come flying off once you remove the clip holding them in place. Apply some pressure with your thumb or finger to keep it in place while removing the clip and then slowly pull them out so you don't lose the valves inside the transmission channel. ... show more

I'm sure it was a good product but I was sent two different used like new solenoids. Not sure what happened but I never used them on my truck. Items were sent back. I don't know if Amazon.com ever received them back.

Auto parts store tried to sell me a $550 valve body for a P0757 code and I had no 3-4 gear. Lost 2nd about a day later. $32 worth of solenoids later along with about $50 worth of fluids and a gasket and everything is working as it should. My transmission was only a 13 month old reman only 1 month out of warranty and I fixed it in a few hours for roughly $80 all in. Two hours of my time to save hundreds and hundreds.     • fixed a code 81 and limp mode
my 1993 k1500 Chevy Silverado with the 4l60e would throw a code 81 on the old obd1 and the tranmission would go into limp mode. I replaced both 1-2 and 3-4 . Fixed my problem. The originals were 202k miles. think i got my money out of them.
