It's a bit bulkier than the pixel cases by Google but the fit is perfect and it feels like it has solid protection. Foam inserts help to protect on drops. Buttons work great. Easy to grip when holding.

This tough armor case feels like it will provide good protection for my Pixel 9 phone. It's a little thicker than previous cases I've had, but it fits well in my hand and pants pocket and the grip feels secure. The kickstand isn't useful when sitting at a table, since it puts the phone too vertical for horizontal viewing. It doesn't work for vertical viewing. I had a similar Spigen casing for my Pixel 6 for about three years. I couldn't begin to tell you how many times I've dropped my phone in that time-- I'm a natural butterfingers. But I have never had to worry about it. Got that and a tempered glass screen protector. Now the 6 is retired, but taken out of the case, it looks like its in mint condition! Now I've got this one for my Pixel 9 and yup, we've dropped it a few times just in a couple of months. But I don't sweat it, I just pick it up and brush it off.
