    • Good protection with a sleek look
One of the best features of this case is the way the case is raised above all of the cameras. This phone has the best camera on a phone of all of the phones made. It takes professional pictures and is easy for anyone to use. Because it is raised your lenses never touch any surface and will keep the camera lenses scratch free. Why have the best cameras made when your lenses get all scratched and jacked up. Not only does it protect them from getting jacked up it looks awesome while doing it. The case is nice and sleek and fits the phone as perfect as it can. The other thing is it feels good in your hand and doesn't slip out of it which is great. The little kick stand is functional if you want to lean your phone up to watch a video and did I mention just how dang good it looks. It doesn't cheapen the look of the phone like alot of other case do but adds some elegance to it. What sucks is when your case makes your awesome phone look like a two bit knock off but not this case. It also has very good drop protection which I have unfortunately tested a few times already which I have dropped it on a corner on cement and my phone and case still look like a million bucks. So if you have a hard time deciding on which case to buy, which it took me a week going through and reading a million reviews and looking at a million cases before I finally pulled thr trigger stop looking. I could not be happier with a case that looks this good bit at the same time protecting it which is the main reason for buying a case. After buying this brand snd now using it for 2 months they have earned a loyal customer for life, and will buy this brand for every new phone that I buy in the future which is always 1 every year. Awesome protection, awesome looks, and for an awesome price. They could sell this case easily for more money but I appreciate this company for keeping its prices down, which tells me they care about their customers who purchase their product. Keep up the good work and thank you for making the perfect case that anyone can afford. You can't do it better than these guys and they have definitely set the standard high.     • Good and sturdy but a bit bulky for my liking
A very solid case, rubber sides help with a good grip, all the cut out fit perfectly and made with a good quality. My 3 drawbacks with this: 1) it's a bit bulky, although I do get it that a good protective case needs to have some "meat", it just feels a bit too much; 2) the supporting leg feels a bit flimsy, as in with larger angle position is feels ok, but when I turn the phone around to lay closer to the surface the leg feels like it may be broken at some point, - will see how it holds with time; 3) there's little to no screen protection on the sides of the screen, top and bottom seem to protect it enough but the sides, in case the phone falls on something smaller in length compared to the full phone length, it may damage the screen. Obviously it is related to any case without a full front protection, but just something to keep in mind. And I think it was done on purpose to expose the curved screen of the phone, so there probably is no uniform solution to that. Otherwise looks like a very solid protective case with enough surrounding materials to protect the phone. ... show more

    • Simple, low-key phone case.

I've had this on my S22 for a couple of months now, and it's definitely a phone case. Nothing flashy, not the best, but it's gotten the job done thus far. I can easily get it in and out of my pocket, it holds nice in my hands, I like that it isn't too bulky. I don't find myself using the small phone stand on the back much, and when it do it's a bit flimsy and doesn't sit at the right angle, but I can't say I mind this much. I didn't buy this case for the stand and you're better off putting a pop socket on the back anyways. I haven't dropped my phone a whole lot so I can't speak on how durable it is, but the once or twice I have dropped it the case stays on, absorbs the fall, and has left my phone with no cracks or bumps. All in all for the price point I think this is a great phone case if you're just wanting a low profile, simple phone case so you don't have to feel the slipperyness on the back of the S22. ... show more

After MUCH deliberation, I chose a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra phone to replace my aging Galaxy S9+. I bought it from Verizon because it appeared to have the best deal and got the green 512 GB version. I also bought a Samsung leather case at the same time, but it only came in burgundy. The case was decent but I wanted more, especially as I found myself taking my phone out of my ScottEVest front pocket by unintentionally grabbing one of the lenses. I wanted four features in a new case (roughly in order of importance): * It should support wireless charging because I use that a lot (and, much less importantly, power share). * It should have a kickstand or ring to allow the phone to stand on its own (my old S9+ case had a ring and I liked it). * It should protect the camera lenses better (ideally with a sliding cover). * It should be green (to more or less match my phone). Unfortunately, no case seemed to support all four criteria adequately. Spigen did have a case with a camera lens cover (the Optik Armor) for the same price as this but it didn't have a kickstand and only came in black. Eventually I bought the Spigen Tough Armor case. Here's how it matched up with my criteria: * It supports wireless charging and power share. * It has a small kickstand (more about that later). * It has a larger protrusion around the camera lenses than my Samsung case had, but it doesn't have a sliding cover. * It came in a dark green (Abyss Green) that's somewhat darker than my phone, but the camera area does allow the phone's green to show through. So how does it work in practice? The phone was very easy to put into the case and it looks great. Taking the phone out is more difficult and -- if you aren't careful -- the black parts at the top and bottom of the case may start separating from the green part, but there's not really much reason to take the phone out of the case unless you need to access the SIM card or use another case. Also, the power and volume buttons work well through the case, the cutouts in the case seem properly placed, and it's easy to access the S Pen from the bottom of the phone. The main reason I took one star off was the kickstand. It's somewhat flimsy but works OK in landscape mode (on either the left or right side). The biggest problem is that it doesn't work at all in portrait mode -- the phone will just fall over. If Spigen had made the kickstand wider (as shown in yellow on the attached image), it probably would have been sufficient to support the phone in portrait mode. Another reason for the star deduction is that the case is still pretty slippery. It's not as bad as the uncased phone, but it's not very grippy. Maybe using a pebbled "grain" or some cross-hatched grooves would have made it less slippery. To summarize, here are the pros and cons. PROS * Supports wireless charging and power share (although I haven't tested the latter) * Has a kickstand that works decently in landscape mode * Protects the lenses with a reasonably high protrusion * Has a thin cushion layer to protect the phone better * Cutouts and buttons seem good and it's easy to access the S Pen * Is priced reasonably CONS * Kickstand is worthless in portrait mode * No sliding camera cover * Case isn't very grippy To make this a perfect case (for me), Spigen should make the kickstand wider, make the case grippier, and add a sliding camera lens cover. ... show more

Unique smooth appearance, the color and functionality is great. It is durable and effortless to use. Wireless charging gets through. This finish wears down a little over time, but I've had several soft drops and it's durability is worth the price. The kickstand is rigid enough.     • Tough Vs Slimmer Spigen Cases

I've been using Spigen cases for years. I find most other brands to look goofy like a child's tablet that comes w/ rubber edges, Spigen's sleek and minimal designs have always spoke to me. Now I usually go for a slimmer case from Spigen, and those have always provided fantastic protection thru countless drops, I don't know why I went with a slightly thicker case this time and especially for an already pretty big phone the S22 Ultra. Maybe I romanticized the kick stand as an easy solution to watch videos while shaving or cooking, which hey is pretty cool. Let me just say I can palm a basketball, and but I'm now having a pretty hard time operating the phone with just one hand, but maybe the extra protection is worth it. Am I happy at the end of the day with this purchase compared to the slimmer designs, while it makes the phone slightly harder to hold the nice slick minimal design, quality kickstand, and extra protection, yea I'm happy, there's a trade off of course but I'm happy. ... show more

This case is amazing! I've dropped my phone so many times where I was like yep, that's probably cracked...and to my relief, it's been completely safe! I've had this case for 4+ years, and it's also less slippery than most cases, so it's easier to hold in your hand.

Had this case since 2023! Just now is the case starting to look like it has taken a beating (totally my fault. I drop my phone all the time). This case has stood the test of time. I went to order another one because I love this case to see it is not in stock. I got my case in black, that was the only color at the time of purchase, button control is still going well, easy to take on and off, just snaps on, my screen is perfect because this case has protected it so well!
