If you are thinking this would be not much bigger than a standard case, it is quite a bit thicker. I had never used one of these "wallet" replacement cases before. On an Iphone 12 pro max, it made a thick phone almost 2x thicker. Otherwise the card hider mechanism seemed fine and would hold about 2-3 cards. I love this case. I have had several. I have used this particular case for about 10 years. I put 3 cards in it, so it eventually breaks, but it gets a lot of wear before that happens. I use it constantly. I have tried them all, and this one is the best!!!

It fell out of my son’s pocket on a rollercoaster going at least 40mph 60 feet in the air onto asphalt and the phone was completely untouched. The case was scratched up but I’m still using it. I bought this for an iPhone 12. The construction is very nice. It has a mixture of flat and gloss plastic. The gloss part showcases every fingerprint you can imagine. Access to your cards is assisted by a nice cutout notch that allows you to slide the door which has a firm locking mechanism. You can fit about 3 cards in it. I haven't had it long enough to discuss durability but it seems like it should last and should offer some protection when dropped. Hopefully won't be testing that. ... show more

The case is okay except the card pocket comes open too easily. I don’t trust putting cards in it. Otherwise, the case seems sturdy.
