I remember Apple's silicone case for the iPhone 11 was amazing. Unfortunately they changed the design of the case for the iPhone 12 and up, and the quality went in the trash, but the price tag went up. So I wanted a case that would be good enough until another case company I like makes an update to their models. However, this case has enough grip to not feel like it would slide out of your hand. It can be hard to pull from a pocket because it does grip well, but I'd rather have that then to have it sliding all over my desk. The lifted lip around the camera is an added bonus to add better protection. This case has a lot of grip. Too much, in fact. It's annoyingly difficult to get it into and out of a pocket. It's just too sticky to use comfortably. I got another one from a different brand which seems to be nicer.

The case is made from silicone. While it looks sleek and feels premium, it doesn’t work well in the hand. Silicones surface texture is a double-edged sword. If you ever manage to cram it into your pocket it does not want to come out. You might think that means it’s grippy in the hand but it’s just the opposite, it actually wants to slide out of your hand. There’s something funny going on between your skin surface, the oil naturally present on your fingers, and the silicone case itself. The glass screen wants to stick to your hands better than the case does. What this means is that as you hold it, there is a tendency for the phone to want to slide out your hand. Of course you can keep it from slipping but I’m not a fan of this characteristic, especially since I pull my pockets inside out trying to retrieve my phone with this case on. Magnet isn’t strong enough to hold the phone up and I doubt MagSafe accessories would stick securely. I only bought this bc I needed a cheap case while I wait on my Rhino shield case to arrive. ... show more

This case is sturdy and nice to the touch. Everything is well done and holds up fantastic. The case is MagSafe compatible and it has a soft microfiber lining.
