I've always had tempered glass screen protectors and decided to give this a try and boy am I glad I did. Finger print reader works like no screen protector is applied.     • Protects the screen but...
Protects the screen, but there's a learning curve for applying it and it scratches easily. It took me several tries to figure out how much water to spray when applying this so that there are no bubbles and it has enough to adhere completely to the screen. The scraper provided is paper, so if you need multiple tries (like me), it may get wet and soggy while you scrape the water out from under the screen protector. After many attempts, and having the remove the first one in the pack from my phone due to bubbles, I got the second protector on the phone. The only problem then is that since this isn't tempered glass, it scratches easily. I noticed a scratch from having my phone next to my keys in my purse. Have never had such an issue with another screen protector before, though I usually buy tempered glass. Overall, I'm disappointed with this screen protector from Spigen. It was way too hard to apply, and now after 4 months of use, I need a new protector because this one is so scratched I can't ignore it anymore. I've used Spigen's tempered glass screen protector for the Galaxy S20 FE, and it was great. I would have preferred if they built that again but for the S21 model. The only nice thing I have to say about this protector is that it's really good for reading fingerprints. I didn't have to reregister my fingers again after applying.     • You practically need a dust free room to make this work
The film is really kind of troublesome to apply. I did all the steps, clean the screen, wet the hands with the solution and then the adhesive side of the film and each time I had bubbles caught under the film, random dust motes after cleaning and spraying... and it still isn't perfect. I am pretty particular about how my phone screen looks and was hoping for something I could apply without a laboratory setting! I give this a mediocre rating because of the trouble. I applied the film to my S21 5g. I ended up using the 2nd film included because I had to reapply the 1st one 4 times. Also, the circle for the front camera is not perfectly lined up after my attempts and that was my primary concern on top of the random tiny bubbles of air I could not smooth out. Maybe the hold could be a tiny bit bigger to allow for slight misalignments? ... show more

I used to work for a cell phone company so I've put on hundreds of screen protectors and still mess up. I prefer the type that have a spray. Way easier to push out the bubbles and adjust once on the phone. All in all pretty good screen protector, doesn't have a weird texture, no more or less finger prints then before. Doesn't disrupt the finger print scanner. Tips for application Wash your hands first Good lighting required Have a roll of tape ready to use for extra dust pick up Do a full scrub to get all oils and finger prints off Even if you don't see anything go along the edges of the phone with the tape to pick up any hiding dust Spray the tips of your fingers once you're ready to apply (weird I know) Don't touch the the sticky side (obvious I know, but your fingers having the spray on them will help save you if you accidentally do) Spray the protector, not the phone Adjust once you have it on the phone (keep an eye on that camera hole) Work those bubbles out like your life depends on it. ... show more

    • Easy fit, looks good.
Went on great. Looked great. I can tell it will protect the screen. My issue, I got it on great, but seen that one tiny strand of my doge hair had gotten between the protector and the screen. I lift it up to get it off and dust or something got stuck to the protector. So tried the second on, the issue is on my end but there was some sort of tiny debris, under it. At first just looked like bubbles, but when I looked closer, you could see tiny grains or dust and dirt. So took the second one off as well. Yes, I did wipe the entire phone and area I worked, so not sure why that happened. Ordered a new box, so hopefully get it right this time. Did my husband's s21 ultra with the same brand and style, and it went on perfect. So not sure why mine did what it did. Operator error I guess. ... show more

    • Great easy to install and clean look for your phone
Once installed everything was a breeze. Good adhesion. never had any issues of peeling or touch non-responsiveness ever. It even takes care of the curved edges. You just have to take a little extra care to put pressure on the curved edges during installation but otherwise installation is a breeze too. I got a spare one since the product comes in a pack of 2 which i never had tonuse since i got it right the first time. Amazing product. Good job guys. ... show more

    • Confused at first, but Worked Well
I was confused at first wheni watched the video on how to install this. It comes with solution that you spray on the backside of the protector to apply to the phone. It then requires you to squeeze the liquid out. After using it for a few months, I've had 0 tears, bubbles, and rips. I do have a case, so that also aids in edge tearing. This does work fine with the fingerprint scanner. I do notice that angles are a little picky, but probably need to redo. Make sure to redo yours after applying. ... show more
