I've had a few different cases for my note 9 and other phones I've had too. Regardless I always come back to Spigen. There well made cases. In my opinion the case for the note 9 here adds decent grip. It's comfortable in the hand as well. Not to thick either nice and slim. The endges kinda have a curve so your hands rest nicely around the phone. It's nice and tight like a glove. So no cornor pooping in your pocket 😉 some people say it has a plastic feel..I personally think it has more of a "HARD" rubber feel. I like it alot. Buttons are nice and clicky. All ports are open very nicely good cutouts. Has a small lift for when the phone is flat down. Good job Spigen. Y'all never let me down. I have 3 cases for my note 9 and at the end of the day Spigen always takes the win as my daily driver :) ... show more

I actually just purchased another one because I dropped it on a hard surface and it is loose in the case. I dropped it probably five times before needing a replacement, twice on hard surfaces with no damage to my Note 9 phone. Great case. Textured rubber is easy to grip and durable. Inside has ribs for shock absorption. the perfect slim case for daily use. Button cut outs are perfect. Good pen access. Pair with the Encased clip holster and you have excellent protection for your Note 9. This is a no-brainer, slim inexpensive, well designed case or replace your phone for $900. Like I said, I just bought another one. I consider cases like bicycle helmets. Once you wear out the protection you'd better get a new one. ... show more

The case may not feel as reassuring as a two piece rubber over plastic one, but it does feel robust. However unlike the rubber over plastic cases, you can use your phone with a Dji controller without having to remove it from the case. Answer: The Spigen Liquid Air Armor Galaxy Note 9 Case! It looks nice, it is light, it has a good grip, it protects from scratches, it isn't bulky, all the cutouts are in the right place, it fits snugly AND the price is right!!! Here is some more good news, Consumer Reports in their test of the Samsung Galaxy note 9 phone dropped it 100 times on to a concrete floor from 10 feet up and it survived with only "a few minor scratches" according to CR. So I asked myself, how much extra protection do I need with this phone? You have already seen the answer in the first line of this review! It helped a lot to read Consumer Reports ratings BEFORE I purchased this phone now I have a better idea of what I need to be concerned about in buying accessories for the Note 9 ... show more

I love this case because it's thin, attractive and manages to provide protection around the edges of the phone without restricting access to the curved edges of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. I've dropped my phone dozens of times (once down several wooden stairs) and there's been no damage to my phone, whatsoever. Obviously using a screen protector in addition to this case. Where this case really shines though, is the back of it with the etched in triangles. It makes gripping the phone SO much easier than just flat plastic. Fingerprints aren't noticeable unless your fingertips were greasy, at which point the case cleans up very well with a cloth and some hand sanitizer. The etched design also looks really sharp and modern. The case works well with screen protectors designed to work with cases, because the note 9 screen is a pain to find a decent one, thanks to the curved edges. All of that being said, I would go with this case again in a heart beat. ... show more

Been using this for about 2 months. Was concerned that it'd be too thick/big and make the Note 9 much bigger. Not so. This case is relatively think and compact. Fits VERY well. Comfortable. Functional. Seems and feels quite durable. Basically, a GOOD case that looks good. Will buy another Spigen case with my next phone. Highly recommended. One thing I was concerned about when shopping for a case was access to the pen. The cut out around the pen socket is well designed that it's not a problem at all. ... show more
