I've been using Spigen phone cases for a few years and know how lightweight and user friendly they are. This phone case is lightweight and fits like a glove as I said in my title. It is so easy to remove, to clean my phone etc. The fit and feel is so nice when you're holding the phone in your hands. It has a nice rubbery / velvety texture and feels just right when you're holding the phone on your hands. When I bought this case, I was worried about how much coverage and protection it would give the phone. I didn't want to risk damaging this phone.. But overall, I think I bought the right case! First, the case feels nice in your hands. A bare note 8 is a little slippery in the hands so the case does add a little grip to it. Second, the case doesn't make the phone bulky. It's slim and the design is nice. The buttons on the side work well. The holes are precise on the bottom of the phone. Also, the stylus area is easy to access. I haven't dropped the phone as of yet (I hope I never do) so I can't guarantee the level of protection this case gives but Spigen products are usually reliable for protection. I will give an update if anything does happen though.. P.S. - I know this isn't really the seller or Amazon's fault but I did experience problems with the shipment and delivery. I ordered the case with 2 day shipping but the UPS delivery guy never rang the doorbell (I was waiting all day and the doorbell works just fine since FedEx had a delivery the same day and they rang it). The delivery guy left a note that said I'm going to have to pick it up.. By the time 8pm hit (which is the maximum time frame they should deliver) the pickup store was closed. They were closed the following day because of religious reasons, and then the following day the employee of the pickup store said they'll get the package the next day... So from the day I ordered the case to the day I actaully had the package in my hands, 5 days have passed.. I paid 2 day shipping for a 5 day delivery and it wasn't even a delivery to my house. Ultimately Amazon did help me out and refunded the shipping fee so I am grateful for that. I'm just a little salty from the UPS delivery guy.. UPDATE** So it's been a while and after several drops of my phone, I can tell you that this case is surprisingly sturdy. There hasn't been too many heavy drops but regardless there's only one small scratch on the front. So just be wary that there isn't too much protection on the front of the phone. This is a near-perfect "minimalist" case. It fits very well, and provides moderate protection all around, including a small ridge at top and bottom on the front (so you can put the phone down on a flat surface without contacting the screen). The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that one of my main motives for getting a minimalist case is to make the phone less slippery -- my goal is to make it grippy, in fact. Even sticky. There are some amazing materials that seem to stick to everything, yet gather no discernible lint, and even that rubbery coating one finds on all kinds of tech products is pretty decent at being grippy. The material of this case is not slippery -- definitely not. It's friction is moderately good. But it's not as comfortably grippy as it could be, and in my opinion, not as grippy as it SHOULD be. If there were a coating of the popular rubbery material on the back, I'd be raving about the case. As it is, it's close enough to my needs to serve its purpose, but like so many things, it could be significantly better. If you're not interested in a grippy case, one that won't slide off of your lap, or the seat in your car, or a tilted surface on some table, then perhaps this case IS perfect. For my needs, however, if Spigen came out with this same case -- with a super non-skid coating on the back (textures don't work) -- I'd buy it again in a flash. ... show more

This case is thin, awesome looking and easy to put on. It makes the buttons very easy to press and best of all, it works with my tempered glass screen protector very well. Makes my Note 8 look very sleek. I never drop my phones (knock on wood) so I can't say how protective or how well it would protect my phone from a fall so I can't say anything about that.
