I’ve had this for 6 weeks so the return window just closed. I’m a kayak tour guide, and bought this so I could take videos underwater (like 6” deep), feel more generally protected while on a paddleboard in the ocean, and over the last few days, it’s started leaking water in. iPhones are fairly waterproof nowadays, but the salt is the problem, hence my need for a waterproof case. Regardless, I rely on tips from photos I take of guests, and today I had to take my phone out of the case while out in a bumpy channel in my paddleboard because the case was full of water and inoperable. I also missed a rare sea turtle sighting because my phone wouldn’t start recording thanks to the water in the case. Ridiculous! Absolute junk; go with Diverbox or another brand. Pros, if you’re just looking for something slightly water-resistant: - typing is easy/screen sensitive (when it’s dry) - comes with wipes and a cloth for easy installation - easy to open charging port, and very easy to remove & snap back on (which is probably part of why it’s so prone to leaking) - lightweight and feels sturdy, perfect size/fit - all buttons work well without needing to push hard - leash is nice (I bought a floating one so my clumsy self doesn’t have to go diving with sharks if dropped) Cons (aside from NOT being waterproof): - the screen cover warps easily, which hasn’t affected screen sensitivity but makes glare obnoxious In short: if you only need the waterproof aspect for rain/splashes, you might be fine, but do not expect to be able to use this submerged even briefly in water. ... show more

    • Sound quality is distorted/not clear when recording videos when case is on.
Looks and feels like a solid case to protect your iPhone 14. However I have to return it due to the issues while recoding video. Everything sounds muffled and distorted and so you can’t hear anything clearly, even with the volume turned up all the way. But even then trying to send a video to someone, they can’t hear it clearly either. Which is a burden for everyone. It’s a shame because I had high hopes for this case. It’s exactly what I needed and wanted to protect my phone 100%. And I’m sure it’s a solid case otherwise. But I can’t keep it due until I these reasons. I record a lot with my iphone. unfortunately this is a common issue with these types of cases but other companies do make them so it’s not a problem. I just have to figure out who makes them better than this. And the company’s I’ve bought previous cases from like this, no longer have them in stock for my phone. Otherwise I would’ve just re-purchased from them to begin with. If it wasn’t for this issue, I would’ve kept it and gave it 5 starts. But instead I have to give it 3 stars. So for the people who this issue wouldn’t bother, this is a decent case as far as look and feel. I can’t state the longevity since I’ll be sending it back. But This does cover 100% of your phone to prevent it from cracking the screen, your camera, and keeping it water proof. ( please note: most newer IPhones are water resistant) but this will help protect it if you go camping, hiking, skiing, boating or out on the water in general like fishing, or spend time outside or even if you live in a city where you walk everywhere instead taking transportation. So this does cover the entire camera part of your phone which can be very hard to find a case that does this without having to buy screen protectors specifically for your screen and camera. Those cases I absolutely hate! Which is why I’ve always boughten these types when I can find them. This was easy to install as well. Because this doesn’t come with a built in wallet, I planned on using the 3MM kind that stick onto the back to hold 4-6 cards like ID/debit/credit/store cards and such.
