  • Thick walls well built
Size: 24"x24"x48"
This grow tent is well-priced for the quality of the materials used. The walls are thick and block all light from entering. The vents are double layered to protect on the inside and outside and have two sinch points on each vent. The reflective material on the inside is textured to prevent magnification of light that might burn your plants. The zipper is heavy duty and doesn't snag. I don't hang anything other than a grow light inside so I don't have an opinion on the amount of weight that can be hung from the frame. Overall it is a good grow tent for small closet grows. ... show more

  • Seems to be great...! 👍😁👍
Size: 36"x36"x70"
So this is my 1st grow tent so I can't speak to features that other brands have. Or what a professional grow tent is supposed to look like. But It check marks all my needs that this diy home gardener needed to grow vegetable seedlings and a handful of tomato plants indoors year round. The material seems thick and durable, I've had zero pin hole leaks through the material or zipper. I verified this with a complete black room with the grow light on "mars 4x4 grow light" and zipper closed. Has a viewing window. Velcro seems durable. It has a removable waterproof lining for the bottom. Easy to read instructions and easily built with a single person. Zipper is durable I haven't had any issues of it struggling to zip up or down. Zipper has a flap to prevent light leaks. And the door has strap attached to the inside to attach to the outside side of the tent to hold it open. Plenty of ports to run wires and exhaust. Different size exhaust ports as well. The ports have double pull string openings. Generates good negative pressure. When sealed and with exhaust system on you can visually see the sides of the tent suck and bow inward from the suction. Over head support beams are sturdy that hold the light. The tent itself is not wobbly but very rigid. The only cons I would say is that is the viewing window is mesh not plastic film. The air circulation ports on the bottom as well as the viewing window require some extra work to get them to seal completely without leaks because they Velcro on. I personally don't use the bottom covers as I try to keep it in the low 70⁰F's for my plants. But if you don't get the seal flush it crinkles and light leaks from the uneven sealing surface. It helps to have a second person put outward pressure from the inside when you attach it to get it flush. For this exact reason I don't use the viewing window but I'd rather just unzip the door and look in. I rather not mess around for 5min getting the Velcro reseal just because I wanted to see my plants. A 30sec unzip and re zip is more convenient for me. But I dont regret the purchase and I'm now a Spider Farm fan. I will definitely be buying again from this company, hopefully soon! ... show more

  • This is the one
Size: 60"x60"x80"
I got a short temper, but I was still able to set this huge thing up on my own. Very simple setup, provided I was watching a YouTube tutorial. The fabric seems super durable like it will last and the poles are stable. And the zippers are great. Lots of holes for cables and fans. You will not have cables hanging around if you know how to manage. No light leaks through at all so far. Along with the 6 inch inline fan this thing provides great negative pressure. And very reflective inside. 5/5 and would buy again for another indoor grow. ... show more

  • Well designed and implemented
Size: 55"x28"x80"
This tent is made with high quality components. The canvas is extra-heavy, the zippers are rugged and have nice pull tabs, and the flexible design options make it very easy to cool and vent the tent as you need it done. The only downside that I have noted is that the door tends to want to roll into the tent (and thus, on to your plants) and you have to manage that each time you open the sizable tent door. On the plus-side, the height is very well considered in the sense that you still have around an inch to clear the tops of standard size door frames - this allows you to move the tent into another room without needing to disassemble it. If you are inclined to do it, you can grow taller plants inside this tent. Somewhere around 52" is the max height I would recommend as this should allow for 14" or so of distance between the light and the top of the tallest plant. The tent is over-sized in all dimensions and is a bit of an odd-size. I stand 6'1" and find it comfortable enough to work inside during the build. Once it was up and running and populated, it is easy enough to reach inside and move plants about. Every few days, I rotate my plant around the light, spinning them a bit as I try to ensure even growth. I use the provided mat along with hard plastic saucers which the plants sit upon. As I rotate the plants, I try to keep both the tent and the saucers clean. This isn't about the tent specifically, but I am tossing this piece of info in because it might be helpful. You are probably going to discover that your potting soil has small, fugus eating flies that will hatch. If you search for 'window fly traps' you will find some clear plastic glue traps. You can stick a couple of these to the walls of the tents and it will do a good job of wiping out the flies. (Your other option is to bake the soil at 300 degrees for 45 minutes before using it, but this may also remove some helpful or friendly soil-living micro-organisms.) ... show more
