The included SF 4000 EVO grow light has stopped working after 11 months. I oredered in May 2024 but didnt begin using until September 2024. July 2025 it quit. Its the weekend so ive had no luck contacting Spider Farmer by phone, i have emailed and reached out via their website. I had 2 older SF 4000's that i got 5 years use out of before on ballast failed, then there were 2 ballasts per light, now just one. It appears the new drivers are no longer the Meanwell drivers ? I hope to get this resolved as i recommended and made this purchase for a friend, who happened to be smack in the middle of his grow, so thats shot. And ive recently purchased two new Spider Farmer 4000 EVO's for myself. If one or both fail i will be extremely upset. Maybe Monday July 7th (2025) i can get someone from Spider Farmer on the phone or an email reply ? 10 months on one of these lights isnt good at all and it wasnt non stop either. I was concerned the Meanwell drivers had been changed in the beginning, they are kind of the gold standard, im guessing the driver is the issue. NOPE, SF will not reply to the phone numbers they provide or respond to email addresses they provide. STEAR CLEAR of Spider Farmer, the in house drivers they replaced the Mean Well drivers with are trash, 5 months out of the new SF 4000 EVO. I'm LIVID !!!!

Love this setup so much! The ability to regulate my temps and lights is game changing. The flaps to view and vent are wonderful for this Ohio weather that can’t make up its mind. And being able to vent when I’m treating my plants without having to remove them is perfect! This is well worth your money and a great investment!

COMES WITH EVERYTHING YOU COULD NEED BESIDES A SURGE PROTECTOR, SOIL, AND NUTRIENTS. YOU MAY WANT TO LOOK INTO SOME EXTRA PLANTING BAGS IF WHAT IT COMES WITH IS NOT ENOUGH. THE LIGHT IS VERY BRIGHT AND CONTROLLABLE FROM 0%(OFF) TO 100% BRIGHTNESS. LONG AGO I USED TO HAVE A VOTREX CENTRIFUGAL FAN, THE SPIDER FARMER ONE IS SO QUIET COMPARED TO THAT, I WOULD GUESS SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 5-10X QUIETER. THAT IS VERY WELCOME :)

Thankful we bought this through Amazon! The company phone number that you can call directly is busy unable to leave any message line is constantly user busy. After owning approximately 7 months actually only used 8 weeks for my plants which then were put outside in my garden in spring when starting new seedlings 2 weeks ago the light worked one day and then nothing. After contacting support through spider farmer which says 2 year warranty,Amazon says 5 years they inform me that the best they can do is send me a video how to replace part that’s broken then after receiving said part I needed to weld it together..The video would not work and I am not a welder. After some more so sorry emails I still needed to watch video and weld the part.That’s when I contacted Amazon they listen to how unhappy I was with Spider Farmers response with their handling of my issue.Lack of being able to talk to a person directly and having to self fix their product with a 2 year warranty .Amazon will refund my purchase minus the return shipping. Why would I keep a product when the company doesn’t step up and replace the defective light!

Have light leaks out and where it is sewed at is is a lot of pin holes shows light. For how much it is I was not planning on having that problem.
