The media could not be loaded. So I wanted to try this drone for two reasons, one for my nephews, that were in the age range that it recommended, and two to see if the cats would chase it like a cat toy if it would entice them to be active. So first off I have to say That I believe they rated this drone for kids between the age of three and 12. I’m not going to give my age, but this drone kicks my butt :-) and I’m not the only one. I had another adult in the family try and figure this out and work it and it is not easy. :-) Either we’re really behind the times or we’re not electronically inclined :-) we still don’t have this little gadget down, but let me tell you this is the most interesting little thing I have seen in a long time. Just to try and figure out this little toy will keep you occupied For hours. I think it is so fascinating how it works and trying to get it to fly come back to you do tricks everything. Now, the kids seem to know how to work these things better than an adult. I guess that’s because they’re used to joysticks, game sticks, all those little gadgets that run games so they know how things work. And they find it quite fascinating too. This little drone is so cute. It’s only about 5 inches, looks like Spider-Man on top and has flashing blue and red lights. It comes with an instruction booklet that tells you what all the buttons do on the little joystick control. Even though I’ve read the instructions, I’m not quite familiar with all that it’s trying to tell me to do :-) But I am learning :-) I think they should’ve put an age range on here from five years old to 85 and if you can master it then that’s great. You can probably move onto a bigger one more complicated or one with that has cameras that you can actually go do some really fun stuff with but this will keep you occupied and it is fun to learn with! The other thing is, I thought it would be a great toy to have the cats go after. It actually scared them. So I think it’s going to take some time for them to get used to what it is. As soon as it takes off they run. I decided I just have to sit in the yard and get them used to it flying around so they could see that they could catch it. We’ll see what happens. This little gadget seems to be quite the entertainment for not only kids, but adults, even older people and animals too. :-) I would highly recommend it to get one of these just to learn Something new. It’s actually a fun learning tool and toy for concentration and how to work one of these. Even a relative in the family that was a helicopter pilot was having not so easy time trying to figure out how to maneuver it all around. He was fascinated with it :-) I give it an A+ and would recommend it to anyone and not just kids. I’ve posted a video and there is some sound so you can actually see it. Go up and down a little bit and hear what it sounds like.

I've reviewed dozens of drones over the past few years. This one doesn't excite me much given the price they want for it. The batteries are only good for about 10-12 minutes each. They are a pain to install, as you have to unscrew a tiny screw, and then fuss around trying to fit the battery into that tiny compartment and screw it closed. It is such a tight fit that it's difficult to close. Unlike many of these small mini-drones in this price range, it only comes with one tiny instruction sheet printed both sides (see pic). Sure, it has a pretty cool looking spider theme that my 7 year old grandson likes, but it doesn't stay hovering in one spot well. I'm giving it three stars because it does fly, and can do a few simple tricks, but for this price you could get one with modular batteries you simply slide into place painlessly without having to unscrew and squeeze a battery into a tiny compartment that barely holds it.

This is a fun little indoor Spiderman themed drone. Items included with the drone are the remote transmitter, two (2) batteries, USB A adapter battery charger, four (4) propeller, instructions manual (suggest reading it) and a screwdriver. The screw driver is used to secure the battery door via a screw. While the drone is recommended for six (6) years old and up, I would recommend adult supervision because to exchange batteries, the door requires the use of a screwdriver, vs plug and play style battery exchange. The batteries are connected to the drone via a 2 wire connector. This drone seems to be durable and should survive several crashes. The propellers are protected by the pre installed propeller guards, so bumping into walls and furniture should not damage anything, inclusive of the drone. The drone is equipped with four (l,r,f,b) accident avoidance sensors and a downward facing sensor for detecting ground distances. I would NOT rely solely on these sensors for avoiding obstacles. The remote transmitter control buttons are clearly marked, refer to the instructions manual for further explanation. Trim can be adjusted. The transmitter requires three (3) AAA batteries, not included. For the most part, the drone is stable inside, though it may drift a little, something to be mindful of is all. It's responds decently to the remote, though I Am not sure about the max range distances the drone can flown away from the remote. This drone can be flown outside in very calm to no wind conditions. It's a kids Spiderman drone, and I would recommend this as beginner drone. I rated the drone 4 stars because a screwdriver is required to do anything with the batteries.

Cool but super small. This is a great first drone for kids and adults to learn how to fly successfully. Also great for those looking for a cheap -easy to travel with drone. The photos are a bit deceiving in the listing, it fits in the palm of my hand easily. There are some nice lights on it.

A fun to fly drone that seems durable enough to withstand a few crashes. The battery is very difficult to plug in to the charger. The pieces just don't want to line up. It's easy enough for an adult to figure out how to fly. Seems like less than 10 minutes of flight time and the battery get's extremely hot after flying. Like 130 degrees Fahrenheit. That's a little concerning to me. Overall, if it's still priced around $35, it's an okay value. Just not an exceptional drone to have.

This drone saved our rainy weekend. My 5year and 7year shared the controller seamlessly – the simple joysticks are foolproof. They loved the colorful LED lights during dusk flights. Came with 1 extra batteries (!!), so the fun never stopped while the other charged. Even my cat chased it safely thanks to the guards!"
