Very fun stem toy! It took a bit to hook up to my daughter's tablet. It turns out we had the GPS turned off and the Sphero app needs location services on in order to work properly. Other than that, we had no issues.

This is a cute and fun little sphero. I got it for my 10yr old so he could play with the cat. Probably best for a younger age, but we all enjoyed driving it around and having the cat chase it. My biggest annoyance is that there isn't a way to turn it on other than taking the cover off and connecting it to the charging cable. It's not hard, just annoying. ... show more

Son received for Christmas and he is thoroughly enjoying it. The light colors are really cool as you can adjust color, speed of Sphero, etc in app. Figuring out how to navigate and set up his obstacle courses has kept a 9 year olds attention extremely well. Gave this as a gift for my 8 year old nephew. There’s so much you can do with it that it kept him entertained for hours. Some things are a bit advanced for him but that just means he should get years of use out of it. Would recommend.

Great present for an 8-year-old. He spent many hours figuring it out and playing with it. We are very pleased as he is learning STEM skils through manipulating Sphero. Giving it 4 stars though because it does glitch sometime and goes off course. Otherwise, great investment. We do like it a lot.
