SpeTool is my go to bit for CNC carving. Performance is equal to Freud without the cost. Material I use it in is oak, walnut, maple. Compatible with 1/4 inch shank routers. Up cut leaves a smooth surface at the bottom of the cut. Extremely accurate.

Good quality bit. I am typically cutting hardwoods and often epoxy which is tough on bits. These last quite well and a nice alternative to the expensive Specktra bits I was using as I go through quite a few. The only reason for the 4 stars is the price has gone up from mid $30s to almost $50.

The bit broke in half withing the first 10 seconds of use. And the wood was very soft -- cedar. I wish i could give zero stars, but 1 is the minimum permitted. To be fair I have not yet contacted customer service because I just received the bit today and needed to get right to work with it.
