  • Fantastic value
Size: uncoated
For router sled planing it's fantastic. I've used it for red cedar and cherry slabs and it leaves a smooth path. Lasts longer because of the rotation option for the cutting edge. Highly recommend

  • Perfect choice for flattening hardwood slab
Size: uncoated
So many types and styles to choose from. This one was perfect. Carbide blades stayed sharp even in dry hardwood. Can rotate blades when they finally do get dull. Used a 3.25 hp router which was capable of spinning this large bit. Very smooth finish ready for sanding with 220 grit sand paper. Took off 3/8 inch of dry cherry with no problem. Very pleased! ... show more

  • Purchased for leveling a walnut-resin slab
Size: uncoated
Needed a new leveling bit for my current project ... leveling a walnut-resin slab for a fly tying workbench that I'm making. I like the four carbide cutter blade bits because I knew I could rotate or replace them when they dull with usage. It worked great, left a smooth and very sandable surface with no sign of burning or unusual wear. Recommend! ... show more

  • Not completely flat...
Size: uncoated
When you set the cutters down flat on a piece of granite, it teeters back and forth as if the cutters are not the same size. But when you rotate the cutter is nothing changes. So I'm assuming it's in the bit machining. Something about the holes is not accurate or at least one of them. Very frustrating. Not sure if I can return it yet at this point ... show more

  • What a mess maker. In a good way
Size: uncoated
I used this bit to mill a badly warped 4’X8’ maple slab from 2” to 3/4” thick. My only complaint during the process was that my D handle router didn’t lock on and wasn’t super comfortable to hold onto during the process. I messed up the setup a couple times and ended up with 60-70% step over and about a 1/4” deep cut but it powered through no problem ... show more

  • This works really really well
Size: uncoated
This works really really well, I was surprise how much better this one works than the units I’ve been using that have the non changeable tips. I think the blades are nicely made, very sharp thicker than the average ones and actually cut the wood not just scrape it

  • Holds up pretty well.
Size: uncoated
I bought this to use in a router sled, and it’s held up nicely. First project was a very large cherrywood slab covered in hardened resin. Went through it smooth for the first 40 minutes of near continual use. Once it started to feel slightly choppy, I just rotated the blades with the hex tool included, and it was good to go again. Slightly costly bit, but it feels worth it now that I’ve used it. If anything changes I’ll update this review. ... show more
