I bought this Speedo ventilated wet gear bag for my father for Christmas and he really liked it a lot. He swims a lot during his workouts and he told me it has lots of space, helped to keep his swimming suit open to the air so it doesn’t get moldy and he appreciated the extra pockets and how it opened at the top. Since it was a present to my father as I mentioned, I cannot comment on how it works. But going off his remarks it sounded like a good buy to me and I’m glad it made him happy. Also, compared to a Bulldogs branded drawstring bag he used previously that wasn’t ventilated. He said that this Speedo one has much more space as well and he could carry more items to the gym as a result. I know the color does matter really but I bought him the gray version and he liked that, too. If I was going swimming and needed a bag to carry my swimming suit and other stuff, I would probably buy one of these myself. I would also believe that this bag might be really good for going to the beach. That actually might be a reason that I will get one for myself. My husband is training for a triathlon and was using the pool a lot without a proper pool bag. Anywho, he absolutely loves everything about this bag. The mesh pockets allow anything inside to breathe and dry. The pockets allow him to be organized with his gear. It was a great purchase!

This is a great bag for someone who goes swimming regularly. It fits all my stuff including kick board, pull buoy, towel, swim suit, soap etc. It closes up well and is easy to carry, though keep in mind it does sit high on the back. I love the color. I will say if you are a competitive swimmer, this probably won’t work as well as it is smaller than a Speedo backpack (the colorful ones that are more expensive). Got this for my wet swim gear - fins, goggles, paddles, buoy, cap, ear plugs. I think it's fine, but it's easy to see that this is not made of premium materials. If my fins weren't so heavy, I wouldn't be concerned about its durability, but the weight of the above-mentioned gear puts some stress on the straps and mesh materials. Because of this, I keep my water bottle in my dry bag, which is much sturdier. For the money, I'm happy enough, with some reservation. ... show more
