It's convenient having a 3-color blend in each individual marker. It takes the guess work out of blending. The ink doesn't blend as easily as Copic markers, but the price point is something to consider versus Copics. I suck at blending period! I used these and it was a no brainer. Simply follow the instructions and watch a video if you need to and wala! They blended at least like I had a clue of how to blend. I’m impressed with the color range of you are not up to the challenge. But really if you follow the technique you can easily learn to do it fast. I love how you don’t have to hunt in your pen pile for blending that pretty much works together. Love love my chance to try and blend with out the hunting and error! Would def buy again and recommend for beginners. Have fun… no luck needed! ... show more

These are so quick and easy to use in terms of selecting colors. I have a complete set of Spectrum Noir markers with the fine and blunt tip ends and the Brush tips are a big improvement. You have to be careful when looking at sets to make sure it is the brush tip if that is what you want. I am just trying to learn how to shade and color and have included an image of my first attempt using an IMALA stamp. The dress features the three colors in the blue, pink, orange and blue green pens. I chose a striped effect, not the best example of a blended technique. I used the three colors of one pen for the face and I think you can see how well they blended. It is just a first amateur example with much room for improvement but at least acceptable for using in a project. She has a little too much blush for my liking lol. I did a lot of shopping and Amazon had the best price even with discounts I get on other craft sites. Highly recommend these not having to spend time selecting which colors to blend is a real timesaver. ... show more

I love these markers. They take the guess work out of blending. I have always wanted to be an artist and understand how to mix colors but I was terrible at it. These markers make me look like a pro and my daughter enjoys coloring but only if she gets to use these markers. They blend so nicely and have great coverage. Pro: Handy to have 3 coordinated colors in one pen. Cons: 1. The colors in the brush markers vary significantly from the same colors in bullet nibs. 2. The difference between the 3 colors in each “blend” is significant. They may coordinate, but they don’t blend. 3. Only muted, dusty yellow. I’ll have to buy yellow markers separately.
