Nearly exactly the same radiator. Everything fit dead on. Make sure you take the little grommets of the bottem feet. Otherwise the bushings will appear to be loose and not the right size. Look twice you will see what I mean. But they are the right size! I have used spectra radiators before without ever any problem. I would buy again but don't expect to need another one for this truck. The person I bought the truck from had used radiator stop leak for an intake leak and it was half plugged up. MAN WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Truck was fine until it was hot outside then it would get all goofy on me shift weird knock, I was hate'n. Runs fantastic now! Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was I am not a fan of the external plug that comes with it to put on an extra nipple located on the passenger side. It fits loose and I hate hose clamps on something that small to start with. I will go get a small piece of hose and an internal plug. It really seemed like a cheeply made solution.

The end result is that this radiator works fine, and it was extremely easy to replace the cracked radiator in my 2000 Silverado 1500 4x4 LS. First impression out of the box - it's damaged. But really it was just a few bent fins (see photo), not a big deal, probably doesn't impact the radiators ability to cool. Install it, fill it, turn it on, and there's transmission fluid leaking. Take the c-clip out check the o-ring (it's there), reinstall - still leaking. I was able to get a - ACDelco 24213958 GM Original Equipment Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooler Line Fitting from the auto shop for $6. This fixed it. So either the o-ring was bad or the wrong fitting was sent. Either way I lost a whole bunch of ATF in the process and made a mess, not exactly what I was expecting from a brand new radiator. All in all, I fixed my radiator and ATF leak, it was easy, you should probably go with a higher quality radiator, but it is pretty much the same as the stock radiator the truck came with

I wouldn’t say it doesn’t fit, because it does, but it isn’t the same as the original size I my Tahoe so the fan shroud doesn’t fit and it appears the cost of a new shroud is the same (or more). I am not willing to cut up my original shroud either. I suppose others will say it is my mistake for only measuring once. Just beware before buying it because amazon will give you the green light that all is well when it isn’t.

Although the radiator seemed like a perfect fit, it started leaking at the drain plug as soon as I turned engine on. After finding out where it was leaking, I called Spectra. I was treated rudely by people that were answering phone, not trying to help me. I was talked over, handed from one person to the next, and no one could help me get a lousy drain plug for their radiator. It seems no one has hand in manufacturers making their radiators because spectra does not make them! Two hours replacing radiator with defective one, and now I have to replace it again with another radiator that may or may not fit. Waste of $$$!

Seems like a good radiator. Maybe dropped my temp a couple degrees but nothing to even get excited about, the new coolant probably helped too. Only thing was there was a cut on the upper and lower support beams? I have no idea why didn't affect it, radiator was still stiff and didn't flex it just confused me. No leaks now. Trans line fittings aren't leaking like some people say they do but I'll update this if they do start leaking

Product failed within two months and manufacturer is not honoring their two year warranty because the product was purchased through Amazon - they advised they do not sell direct to end user.

Fit my sons 2000 GMC 1500 4x4 4.8L with automatic transmission and it only takes about 30min to replace. This one does not have the engine oil cooler optional ports on the driver side tank just FYI.

2001 Silverado 5.3 4x4. Opened same day as delivered, box In to be expected condition. Firmly packed in box. All plastic and metal feels and looks as it should and firm. Will update anything noteworthy after install. (I opened from bottom and stopped taking photos)
