    • Mediocre Fit, but Still Good Quality
While the case does its job, the bottom portion is way taller than the computer itself. I so carefully read the specs for the case, and ordered the correct one, and I’m disappointed that this was a mediocre fit. I’ve used Spec cases forever, and have always loved them.

    • Corner Cracked
The looks of the case are exactly what I wanted however after about 6 months, the corner of the bottom section cracked. Would like to continue using however I'm not going to replace it with this case because the cost is to high for something like this to happen.

I’ve bought several of these over the years. If you buy the one that’s designed for your computer, it fits perfectly and lasts a long time. Not heavy-duty protection, but certainly will protect against day-to-day scuffs and scratches. Keep your computer looking new.

    • Fragile. Short Lived. NOT a good case
I love Speck products, but if you are making cases so thin and tight that they crack and need to be replaced every couple months, I'd recommend you revisit the purpose of the case in the first place. I purchased this case in October, and when a bottom corner cracked and it had to be replaced within 2 months, I thought I was to blame. I thought I'd installed the case poorly or something. I purchased another in December of the same year. I'm not rough with my electronics. When the 2nd case ALSO cracked on a bottom corner, I faulted the design. I've gone back and forth with Speck customer service and, while they are polite, I keep getting told that a replacement is only available in pink or a soft blue color. Not what I ordered. Not what I want. When the black case DID come back in stock, I contacted Speck customer service and was told that all the black cases were damaged in shipping. Strange that Amazon has the black cases available... You supply Amazon.... One wonders. I'm only one person, but Speck has lost my business. ... show more
