I’ve been with speck for years since the iPhone X was released and used there cases as months went by but now that I upgraded to a 12 pro max pacific blue and people are such complainers that the case is slippery and that there are words on the volume button and that it says China on the lock button it is not a bother to me at all this case has lasted me a good couple days and the reason why y’all say it’s a bad case is because of how slippery it is and yea speck cases are gonna be slippery if you have dirty or greasy hands but for me it’s not slippery for me at all it protects my camera and screen a lot people said it’s broken there camera that’s there fault for not putting in on right so this case is a must buy in blue if you have the blue 12 pro max and the words on the sides aren’t that visible! ... show more

i wrote this review to point out my key gripe: the case over the volume and power buttons require more strength and pressure to activate and gives way less tactile feedback. otherwise, the pros were: value (price paid), Microban, quality material - feels smoother than the competitor's TPU cases; material feels harder, and hopefully won't yellow. Looks great; clear plastic is crystal clear! has raised front and back edges so your phone doesn't come in contact with surfaces when you put your phone down. I have gotten a lot of compliments on this case and it’s very nice. However the buttons are so hard to press that it sometimes causes major frustration. Considering the price, it was still a good buy.
