Description

GemShell is a slim and protective clear phone case that adds confidence- inducing protection in a sleek and minimalist design. Not only is this case stylish, but it’s strong as nails. It’s been tested to meet MIL-SPEC drop standards, so you’ll be confident knowing your phone will be protected no matter what life throws at you. GemShell also has an antimicrobial treatment from Microban that provides lifetime product protection from stain and odor causing bacteria growth. If that wasn’t enough, there’s also a raised bezel that helps protect your screen from scratching and shattering if-and-or-when your phone falls and lands face-down.

    • This case is protective ….your inner clutz will thank you.

Truly can’t ask for a better phone case. Easy to install. Fits snuggly on your phone so don’t plan to put things inside the case you need to get at. I am very accident prone, drop my phone constantly. Learned quickly that cute phone cases don’t protect. Started buying clear Speck cases for everyone in my family. These last for about 2 years, with a ridiculous amount of droppage, and no broken screens. I replace every now and again when the case starts to yellow and crack. But I seriously put this case to the test day in and day out. Phone flies 3 feet in the air, face down and totally fine. Love the clear case, can tell my phone is pink and not grab my husband’s black phone. ... show more

    • Good overall case albeit a bit bulky.

My wife and I finally got new phones - the iPhone 13 so we needed new cases. We decided on clear cases. I got the Spigen Gemshell, she got the Spigen Ultra Hybrid. This case is sturdy and robust. The corners are reinforced and the ridge around the screen and camera lenses are noticeably raised unlike on my wife's case. The power and volume buttons take some effort to engage. Those on her case are much easier to push. Installing the iPhone 13 was simple and it fits nicely. The phone without the case feels very slippery. The case makes holding the phone more secure. Overall a good case though a bit bulky. I expect it to be able to take some rough treatment ... show more

Great case, great fit and size but like all clear ones it does yellow but solid value for the money. Magnet was good for charging and accessories for.

    • Great Phone Protection, only one flaw…
Color: Clear/Platinum Glitter
My only complaint is that the clear cases often yellow slightly on the edges over time just from the oils in your hands, dirt, color transfer from pockets/purses, etc. That being said, this is one of the best cases I’ve ever used. The Speck cases are durable, always protect my phone from drops (and I drop my phone A LOT), they fit snugly, and they’re priced right. ... show more

    • Surprise favorite!
Color: Clear/Platinum Glitter
I'm a longtime fan of Speck. I am also a fan of phone cases and love to switch them out often. I recently got a new pink iphone so I ordered several cases to try. This was my "cheap choice", being the least expensive and no magsafe. Surprisingly it has quickly become a favorite! I love seeing my phone and the sparkle is just enough (even for a mom in my 40s). It fits well and feels good to hold onto. No sign of yellowing yet, but I do wash it pretty often. One thing I love is that the corners are raised up to the same level as the camera cutout, so it lays flat when I put it down -- no rocking on the counter. This also keeps the back of the case from actually laying on surfaces to get scratched up since it's resting on the corners. That was always an issue with the hard candysell cases (I would always buff them with a soft cloth & car scratch remover which worked wonderfully — not sure how that would work on these clear cases though). Definitely recommend! ... show more
