I like this case. It is made to fit the Iphone 13 very well - snug and sturdy. It protected the phone well from all accidental dings and scratches. I climb rock regularly and it served me really well. Recently it proved to be indispensable. On one of the multipitch climbs, rapelling down I forgot to zip the pocket where I had my phone. I adjusted my harness loop and it squeezed the phone out. To my horror I saw my phone falling out clinking and clacking down the wall. Not a good feeling. Mentally I accepted the expected demise of it and already started planning a necessary big purchase. When I finished the rappel and picked the phone up, it came alive without an issue. The protective case was badly smashed as it took all the beating like a warrior. I gratefully retired it and bought a new one. It is good - proven! ... show more

I have had Speck Candyshell cases in the past and loved them! They fit perfectly and were strong protection! They were also a glossy/smooth/slick finish. They were easy to wipe off and nothing stained. I got this new matte/soft touch finish.... it is strong and fits perfectly! But it shows marks from my blue jeans, finger oils (even with clean hands) and shows every bit of discoloration it can pick up from your bag, pocket, or desk. It looked very dingy within a few short days.... it protects and fits well but looks bad. I probably won't use it for very long because the marks/smudges don't come off and it looks really dingy. I've phone protectors from this manufacturer for years and this iPhone 13 Pro case does not disappoint. Unlike my previous models, this particular one is more sleek and less "aggressive" in terms of styling. It doesn't add too much bulk to your phone, so carrying it in your pocket feels comfortable. I've dropped my phone at least 10-15 times since purchasing this case and I'm sure I likely would have caused some serious damage by now had I not had the protective case. The case grip is slick and the matte finish peels quickly and holds dirt and then discolors. Protection is great. But I had my last speck case for year and have had to replace this one after 6 months because it looks so dingy and years old already.
