The shorts look very nice and fit well. They are supposed to be 95% cotton but I personally don't believe the claim. I can't say for sure of course. I compared them to other cotton shorts and they felt nothing alike. That is why I returned them. I wanted cool and breathable cotton. If that is not an issue for you than you will probably like them. I really like the jersey comfort of these shorts. I'm 5'1" and 145#. These shorts are more the "Bramuda " length, top if the knee rather than a mid thigh "short." Feel like a heavy t-shirt than sweatpants. Drawstring waistband for easy fit and two great side pockets.

Cotton is very soft. Great color blue, the waist band I would have preferred to be thinner it is very thick. I ordered a xs it is a smaller xs but still fits. If you are between sizes go up A size.
