If you don't have a catspaw in your toolbox, get one. This thing makes demo and any kind of nail pulling easy, getting into the hard angles and weird spots without issue. I am new to this brand, but they seem to make quality tools.

I had to remove over 30 picture hangers at my folks house. This worked great without marring the walls. I was able to remove nails, brads, and picture hangers easily. The product is sturdy, the size was easy for me who doesn't haven't have alot of upper body strength to use.

    • Excellent but don't cop-shop our construction tools
Great tool for the money, I wouldn't knock it, I do construction, pull out nails, I just received this today, no doubt it will perform. The brand "Spec-Ops" I certainly don't resent supporting veterans, great that they do, in fact. However, I'm getting a vague suspicion. Anyone who frames or builds needs tools like this to pull out nails, pry with, obviously, but cops aren't in that business and they shouldn't frame. There's a little bit too much of a SWAT team meeting up on Wednesday nights when the moon is full with just a hint of a warrant to bust in residential doors using tools of a different trade, and that's when innocent subjects, neighbors and law-abiding citizens go to jail. It all depends on who's framing the door and who's assuming legal authority on some cause or matter to bust it in. My complaints are not applicable to this particular vendor. It's a good product and you need it but certain alarm bells are ringing at the builder's society. ... show more

Renovating my old 1970's kitchen that is absolutely loaded with nails... ugh. Halfway through I found this nail puller and it's been great for all the nails that were set just below the surface of the wood. A few whacks with the hammer and this thing pulls out every nail I've come across. It's plenty hard, although it is painted so expect that to chip off with the first whack or two.
