First thing, it fits. Made the mistake of buying a cheapo from E bay and the rubber gasket was too thick, couldn't even get the thing in. So with the experience of trying to install something that was too large, this one from Spearhead was a piece of cake in comparison. Slid in the slot and clipped in, no forcing necessary. Very similar in size to the original Nissan one. The old one was so dirty it was basically black. Easy to install, fit in the slot fast and got everything reassembled and ready to go in 5 mins. Decently priced, just a few bucks more than the Ebay one that didn't fit. Learn from my mistake, buy from somewhere you can at least do no hassle return. Look up how to replace these on youtube, it seems like a weird design by Nissan, its super tight fitting in everything and you have to remove the tube to get the filter out. Daunting to anyone who hasn't had any experience changing these in the cars. Compared to a Toyota, Nissan is just...harder to maintain. But once you get the hang of it, it's easy. Will see if the mileage improves by any stretch, but will not hesitate to buy this again a year down the road.

I purchased this Spearhead Max Thrust Engine Air Filter for a 2015–2016 Honda CR-V as a replacement for the factory air filter. I was looking for a quality filter at a reasonable price, and this one fit the bill. The filter was an exact OEM fit and dropped right into the air filter housing without any modifications. Installation only took a few minutes, making it an easy DIY maintenance project. The filter appears to be well made, with quality materials and a sturdy seal around the edges. While it's difficult to measure performance from an air filter alone, the engine has been running smoothly, and I have no complaints about its fit or function. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. It offers a good combination of quality, fit, and value, and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another Spearhead air filter when it's time for my next replacement.
