Trasharoo brand trash packs are very well made and you will find most people out on the trails with one. The canvas is thick and sturdy and the stitching strong. Some people complain about sun bleaching over time but I have not found that to be an issue as the product performs fine year after year even if the sun bleaches the color over time. Bag is super sturdy, we’ve stuffed everything from camping bedding to luggage to a large inflatable boat in here. Buyer beware the zippered flap on the closure should only hold light weight items that you are not afraid to lose. For some reason the inside flap is a very light nylon material, so that will be the first spot to go. I had to use tent tape along the seams to keep it functional and ultimately we decided to repurchase the item. Anything heavy or sharp goes in the main body of the bag. It will fade in the sun so we bought the green as it looks more natural once the color lightens. Love it! ... show more

After trading my husband about this, we came back from a week of camping and I had to tell him he was right. So great for a lot more than trash... We used it for holding dog flotation vests, wet beach towels, dirty shoes, etc. Fairly easy to install (start out with the straps looser and tighten once the clips are together) and sturdy, no slipping driving all over the mountains. Nice details like the sleeves which cover the buckles to prevent rubbing or clanking. Definitely recommend. ... show more

A must have when 4wheeling in the middle of nowhere. It is a little difficult to get onto the spare, but once it's on, it is not going anywhere. I take my bag off when not in use to avoid fading.

When I first saw these I thought they were kind of gimmicky, since I saw so many people “overlanding” with them I decide to see what the fuss is about. Now it’s Been on my Jeep for 6 months, love it, it’s a lot more of a game changer than you would expect, keeps the wet nasty stuff like tow straps out of the Jeep, as well as bug spray and hand sanitizer, dog tie out, and of course trash all outside and ready instantly. Isn’t the most UV stable fabric in the world (fading is apparent) but at the price I think I’ll have my moneys worth by the time it’s worn out. ... show more

This is the best trash bag container I've had. Hasn't faded and is easy to install. Uses a cross strap method that stays put and wont sag. I also haul 2 bundles of firewood and hasn't torn. I think it's the best.

    • Multi-Use Exterior Bag Not Just For Trash

It's called the "Trasharoo," but can be used for a variety of things. I use the main compartment for double-bagged trash, then clip recycling bags on the MOLLE loops on the outside to keep it separate. This bag is also great for a dirty clothes bag, to keep the stank out of your 4x4 (especially nice if you are camping in your rig). I have also filled the bottom of the Trasharoo with ice and used it as a beach cooler. There are grommets on the bottom of the bag that allow the ice water to drain out and the interior material is water resistant. Keeping the 50lb weight limit in mind, I have also used the Trasharoo for carrying in firewood and campfire materials. I am sure there are many other uses for the Trasharoo, and this product is a solid investment. NOTE: This bag is designed to attach to your spare tire, which is much easier when the tire swings away from your vehicle, as it does on a Jeep. I have fitted this on a Toyota FJ Cruiser with a fixed spare tire, and I admit it was quite an acrobatic ordeal. It took a lot of experimenting to figure out how to feed the bag's straps down through the back of the tire bracket and out the back while still having access to the buckle tighteners - all while not being able to see where the buckles were. It can be done, but unless you have a swing-away spare tire that gives you full access to the back of the tire bracket, plan on playing with this product before your trip to figure out how best to secure it. ... show more

Great trusty trash bag to keep on your spare. I literally throw everything in it and it just lives on my spare tire like a cover year round. It’ll get noticeable sun damage after a year but nonetheless I’ve loaded it with three bundles of firewood to camp at its heaviest weight and it’s been fine numbers of times. Wouldn’t say it’s completely waterproof but I’ve had the said firewood in it through a weekend of rain and my wood has stayed dry 😅 ... show more
