Product seems to be made okay. The felt on the outside lets black dye get on your hands the first couple of uses. Seems to be better now but the first use my hands were literally black. The material seems nice. I've never had any sort of alcantara to compare it to, so take it for what you will. I'm using this on a racing sim rig, and the wheel does have some back and forth flex (you steer from left to right so the flex is not very noticeable) It seems to be okay although I feel like for a car it would be kind of questionable.
