I live in these during the wedding season, they are my favorite form on shapewear. If you happen to hold more weight in your upper thighs and legs, you could have an issue with "chub rubb" or chaffing. I recommend baby powder or constarch to help.

My first piece from the Spanx line. I like the product, and the tummy pannel did it's jop and made my muffintop pretty much disappear. The only reason this isn't a 5 star for me is that if you are short in the torso as i am, this product does like to roll down. I found wearing a bra with a wide band, or with silicone grips can help with that. Right now I also wear it beneath another body shaper for extra compression and in that context it will stay in place. Perhaps I will see if Spanx full body shapers work out a bit better for me. Try to imagine me trying to put these on. I get one leg in and realize I may have bitten off more than I can chew, here! Put next leg in and prepare to pull them up over my hips and realize that I CAN'T! I was so bummed. I've wanted Spanx for a long time, now I have them and they're too small. Darn! I pull them off and toss into a corner of my room, defeated. So I stare at them, crumpled on the floor as they mock me. No, I'm not going down like that. I get up to try again, whispering to these shorts that I'm gonna win! I get them on up as far as my hips and began to pull with all my might (what if I tear them!!) Stretch, pull, sweat, swear, GOT IT! They are above my poor, injured bruised hips now! But I won, so there! I got them situated around my core now, those errant (extra skin) rolls are nowhere to be seen! The tummy that housed 2 babies and lots of pizza and twinkies seems to have disappeared! Magic, I tell ya. I yanked on them pretty hard to pull them up and into place and they handled it. No tearing, no terrifying sound of a popped stitch. I love how my rolls and skin is all tucked in and smoothed out! I don't feel hot and constricted at all. There is a little trap door in the crotch for using the restroom, but I haven't been brave enough to try that. My only gripe with these is that they do roll up on the legs. I have to reposition the leg parts throughout the time I'm wearing it. But no rolling at the waist. So glad I got these and now looking forward to being able to order a Spanx tank top! ... show more

First bought my true size in small. The band rolled down. Then I went to medium size, even though it would be a little big on my petite hourglass Fram. Still rolled down. Large was way too big. With each size I bought the band kept rolling down. Settled on the medium size thinking there would be less chance of the band rolling during the event. By the time the event was over the band of the shorts was around my waist. Would not recommend. I had seen really good reviews on this and I'm terms of creating the silhouette I wanted it was pretty good but I wore this to another event ahead of the wedding and I am glad I did because it was annoyingly rolling down at the top.
