The XL tent us spacious and with all the windows open, allows optimum ventilation. We set ours up adjacent to our rv and use it as an art / music studio while camping. No bugs, and with the all weather window covers down, there is no water even in heavy rains. Once the tent is staked down (use heavy duty screw stakes) it's vert sturdy in heavy wind. I would recommend light colored tent fabric as the black gets hot in the direct sun. We returned the black full canopy for a light colored and it's a huge difference. Set up is fast!     • Stood up to wind and rain with no leaks or failures
The media could not be loaded. Used it for an overlanding trip to Anza Borrego and it rained and was super windy (50-60 mph gusts). I was concerned if by the morning it would all be pulled out but held up the next day. It was windy, rainy, and noisy but we were dry and safe. Easy set up too

    • Too heavy and poor craftsmanship.
I was so excited to receive this after reading the reviews, but I believe they were written by their AI BOTS. received mine today and during initial setup discovered: #1 it’s just too heavy for one person to carry, #2 the stirrups that hold the internal poles beside the doors were sewn on upside down (both top and bottom), making it impossible to stabilize the vertical strength of the door. When I requested a refund I was told that it would take 30 business days to process plus an additional 7-10 business days for it to be processed to my card. Rediculous!!! I would NOT buy this product! Too expensive to have this shoddy craftsmanship, not to mention their version of quality control (if there even is any). Just my 2cents worth. Go with another tent. ... show more

Setup instructions were a little lacking, I would recommend watching a YT tutorial before attempting setup. Setup was easy overall and took us about 20-30 minutes to figure out the first time we used it. I recommend setting it up when you receive it to make sure you understand all the steps and to check for damage. The tent is heavier than any other tent I have owned but it is manageable by one person of average strength. When the tent is folded up it is a lot larger than any other tent I have owned. The stowed length of the tent is 4ft-6in and the width is approximately 1ft by 1ft which can be a deal breaker if you don't own a vehicle with enough storage space or a roof rack. The XL has a front and rear door which is nice and may come in handy depending on site location. Plenty of windows allow for air circulation. Construction seems solid. We purchased the XL Floor as well which is very nice. It appears to be made of the same material and construction as a Zodiac boat which makes me very confident that it will last a long time. ... show more

I originally bought this tent to get out of my moldy house, so I moved in to it in my back yard. I was worried about the 55mph winds and snow and rain. So far it has held up to 11 inches of snow, allot of rain and 55mph winds. This was a game changer for me. I was able to set this tent up by myself which was shocking. I did get my hubbys help with staking it down. It does amazing in the rain and is quite comfortable. The inflatable floor is a real game changer. It’s the best tent! The tarp for the top is amazing in the wind too.i highly recommend it. It’s worth every penny.definitely get all the add ons. I will add air conditioning in the spring and summer and will let you know how it goes ... show more
